Corsair AIO Pump Won't Turn On QUICK FIX!

- There is a problem with the design of AIOs from Corsair. It is possible that when you boot up your PC with the AIO installed, the pump will not turn on. In this video, I show you how to solve this problem.
After hours of searching on forums all I read was that it was probably defective, this fixed it. I even remember installing that cord and thinking it’s was so loose and crooked lol. Still won’t be buying another Corsair cooler. Thank you so much man!

Thank you man, its weird for while it just did this every once and a while but fixed itself then recently came back and wouldn't go away, I just adjusted the cable and it works perfectly again. These cables are made pretty poorly. Thank you though!

Had this problem on my new build, forced the cable in hard until it clicked now it works great. I also noticed the leds didn't light up when the cable is loose. Thanks bruddah 💪

Do you still have the receipt for the cooler? I would try to get a replacement of the same cooler. The one you have is likely defective
Good advise and Fix unfortunately I tried and tried with that connector in the end I would turn on PC after replugging in a few seconds I got the dreaded Icon (on a Corsair AIO 150i Elite) instead of an immediate RMA I went down to the dealer chanced the same model brand its fixed it for me to replace. but I might RMA the other now to get a spare. so simply replugging didnt work. I suspect the Pump is either borked or the Hub. My CPU (I9 14th gen 14900K) reached 115c before severe thermal throttling) thanks god for thermal cut out,. it didnt show any discoulouration on the dye face. Works perfectly afterwards.

this got my fans working but my pump led’s still wont turn on and my system is still shutting down due to overheating - is that due to a broken pin or something and if so will I need to buy a new commander core for the aio?

what power did you connect the pump to if not the commander core?

It should have come with a commander core, I believe. Look up a picture of one. Are you sure it was not included?

Hi bro. I have faced the same issue yesterday when I purchased Corsair h150i elite lcd. I tried your way but it seems not to work. I tried many times, unplugged and plugged the cables but not worked. Really dissapointed by this problem, really liked the product and the design
I've got the same issue. Built my PC today it all worked fine except for the RTOD on the screen. I fixed the RTOD and all I've had since then is pump failure warnings
I would contact Corsair or the retailer for a replacement.

Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem. The pump and fans are still flashing red and the CPU is 100 degrees. I will probably RMA it. Hopefully it's done soon
Yes I would RMA it, since the problem with your cooler might be different than the problem addressed in the video

my capellix h150i is spinning and worked however red flashing persist and iCUE software says PUMP FAILURE....
Do you still have the receipt? I would contact iCUE, you should be able to get it swapped out for another of the same unit. It might be defective. Sorry for late reply.

If you plugged it in all the way, and it still doesn’t show up in iCUE, you might want to get a replacement. If you bought it recently, you should be able to go back to the store and get a replacement.

How to remove the cable of the commander core. Mine feels like it’s really stuck in there, I don’t know if I should pull the plug out by force to test whether the problem lies with this.

I pulled it out with force and it worked for me, but eventually I have returned this product because it just didn’t work. Got an nzxt instead
