Once it was setup - it was a good performing laptop to use. I deployed this for an average business customers who uses it for Office applications, email, multiple web browser tabs and little basic photo editing - and it does all of that easily - so it turned out to be a good purchase for them.

Debating between buying this one or the 15.6" Dell Vostro 3501 i3-1005G1, for basic computer uses (internet, netflix, music) plus some programing (R language) and Microsoft programs (Excel mostly) (I am a college student). Would love to hear your recommendation! Also would wanna hear about the speakers a bit
Curiously, despite the lower CPU frequency, userbenchmark results suggest that the 1.0GHz base / 3.6GHz turbo i5-1035G1 performs similarly to the 1.6GHz base / 4.2GHz turbo i5-10210U. I think this would work really well for college/education. It's the right mix between portability, cost and productivity.

Minecraft might be ok, but not much more than that.

It has 4 gb soldered ram and 1 extra dlot you can put a 16gb ram in the empty slot so it can have a total of 20 I have it and I upgraded it so I know

It’s not slow and it’s not a mediocre cpu frequency. The performance is ok if you get faster Ram sticks and Faster NVMe SSD’s
