You have easily become one of my top fav RUclips tech reviewers :) so easy to watch and relatable. I had a AUD$800 HP Compaq that my parents got me for 3 yrs during high school (2013-15), it looked very similar to this, just black all over. And it lasted surprisingly well. But I always despised how cheap it felt haha, and it seemed to always be plugged in. 7 yrs later I'm running the new 16" MacBook Pro and I don't think any laptop can match it in quality! And I can't be happier with it. Though AUD$5,500 was ALOT of money haha

@@DayoAworunse thank you for the info. I have really good computer speakers with a woofer. That will work good.
Good review - Great speaking voice!
But,but!! That... Fresh, new out of the box laptop smell!! Nice silver! What CPU / RAM did it come with? An i5 11th Gen? And 8 GB RAM? Can the Win 10 model be upgraded to Win 11? Thank you for a good review!
Is the screen bright enough? thanks in advance
Would this be a good choice for my 1st laptop? Wal-Mart has them on sale (Black Friday) for $229.
Apple really needs to give us a full keyboard with number pad 🎉🎉🎉🎉
If u don’t like go which do you like?
hey! could you make a disassembly video of this device?
This is definitely an upgrade over my mom's previous Samsung laptop that she has been using since 2012
this one is available right now on Staples for $350 with 11th Gen Intel Core i3-1125G4 4-Core, 15.6" 1080p, 8GB DDR4, 256GB SSD, Type-C, Fingerprint Reader, 3-Cell, Win 11 (Natural Silver). Not a bad deal.
It says 519 on staples is it good for video editing
HP has a killer deal right now 15 inch, Ryzen 7, 16 gig ram, 512 ssd, windows 11, wifi 6.. For $650
@@strangeclouds7 Is this good for gaming i wanted to get the HP Pavilion Laptop Computer 15.6" FHD AMD Ryzen 7 16 GB memory; 512 GB SSD
You forgot to mention that there is almost no chance you can exchange the keyboard if you have killed it with coffee or you want a different layout...
Good day which is your best budget laptop for everyday use
I bough two brand new HPs from different shops and both was "dead", with totally discharged batteries. I think that it's normally for HPs
New version is still not backlit but it is touch screen now. Just picked it up for $530. Not a fan of there being no backlight. Not even for the power button. It’s a tap and hope it’s on kind of situation
:) ♥️
You forgot to mention there are 2 other ports. I can see clearly in the video.
So you would like it better if they provided you a gift wrap,Bow included for your review?
Hi 👋 i live kurdistan i love you amazing videos in DayoAworunse Channel❤
Dayo: * smells laptop * smells like nothing
Me: * removes from basket *
Good choice. The acer smells more premium than this
Im gonna buy this soon. However, for me im getting 1tb storage, 16gb ram, and touchscreen. The price $409
Good review but there is a backlit Option you just have to press The button On the top of the keyboard
Thanks for the review Dewonde, do you know what kind of processor this has in it?
Is this laptop good for music production
YO I thought I was the only person on earth that used their pointer finger to hit the space bar LETS GOOOOOOOOO
LETS GOOOOOOO
Bro that Microsoft roast... I can't deny it's true though.
Well that was a good review, and that is almost the same laptop I got last year for that price range. I did get the AMD RYZEN 7. And after a short while it was automatically upgrades to windows 11. And I'm ok with no backlight. Nice unboxing. 😇
Would you recommend it for programing?
@@Alaa-bi2ex Not sure what type of programming you are talking about. I like the speed and functionality of everything, but I'm not a programmer so for me it's just fine. A real programmer would have to weigh in on that.
@@donquinn1343 How much ram does urs have? I just got a killer deal on a HP pavilion 15 with Ryzen 7 5825u processor, 16 gig ram, 512 SSD
@@strangeclouds7 WOW I do have 16GB ram but my Ryzen is only 5700 and my SSD is only 256 GB half your size. Did you get this recently? Maybe I should have waited 🤔 but thanks for the tip, I wish I got the deal you did. 😇
@@donquinn1343 hey Im getting the same one you have with a bit more storage, how good or bad of an experience have you had with it?
Should I get this for gaming and would it run games like Minecraft?
You care about the opposite things that I do. For example I hate expensive packaging. I would rather they focus on the product not the packaging that goes straight in the trash.
nice review, but looking into getting this laptop! i do have a question though, would it be okay for a little bit of gaming like Minecraft and such?
It’ll run Minecraft okay on the lowest settings
@@DayoAworunse okay thank you!
good review! though imma need that wallpaper
Thank you, sir, I always return to you when buying. Is it good for video editing and photoshop programs somewhat?
Not so much. If you are doing basic 1080p editing, it'll be okay.
Is this a good laptop for work from home?? I’m struggling btw this and a dell 😩
i feel like you could have 1m subscriber's good video and you have a nice voice
Would you like for them to take money away from the product so you have a better time taking it out of the box one time?
The smell test was hilarious !
Just click F5. IT DOES HAVE A BACKLIGHT FOR KEYBOARD
Really?
I just tried it on mine. Thanks I didn't think it had one! Haha!
i Press F5 Five There is Nothing Fuck 5
thanks ,worked on my i7 .. great tip
2:20 ‘smell’
Went to Target today and picked this up for my online schooling, Lady Gave me a HUGE discount and I only paid $246
My keyboard is backlight, not sure if that means its anything different from this one overall though
Damn, nice.
You have have a poison jab for online schooling?
So lucky😎👍
Question, will it be optimal for RUclips video editing?
Not the best for it, but it's doable
This is probably one of the cheapest machines with an 11th-gen i5. Pretty much everything else is expected to be average at best but more often mediocre. This is even below the Pavilion line that HP sells, so no frills whatsoever are expected. For a lot of people though this is going to be a more than acceptable machine.
Which one u prefer. This or aspire 5 ryzen 5?
HP has a killer deal right now 15 inch, Ryzen 7, 16 gig ram, 512 ssd, windows 11, wifi 6.. For $650
Is this good for gaming i wanted to get the HP Pavilion Laptop Computer 15.6" FHD AMD Ryzen 7 16 GB memory; 512 GB SSD
@@seanlaurent3134 It has more than enough power for basic every day use like work, surfing the web, youtube, etc. However, for gaming unless it has a dedicated graphics card it will not be good for gaming. When it comes to gaming its all about the GPU.
😂😂 this was such a fun and funny review
Woww Very Well suggestion sir ❤️
I was at the checkout button on Amazon and watched your video and change my mind lol
What do you do to the laptops afterwards
Cuz am i need one of those
This laptop didn't stand a chance from the very get go. Personally I could give two shits about the packaging. I would rather have the money I spend go more towards the product rather than packing just so I could feel that wow for about 2 minutes before it gets chucked in the trash never to be remembered again.
My wife is going to school for medical billing and coding. Will this laptop do the job
For coding, it's do-able. Would recommend adding more RAM if possible, especially with Windows itself hogging a lot of resources.
Nice video fam, I just subscribed
