I purchased a V14 Gen12 i5 and it is fantastic. I is a real portable workhorse. 8/10 stars. A 9 would have been an i7 processor.

A 9 would have been a dedicated gpu, the Ryzen 7 model is more than enough for a lot of use cases. If this laptop had a 1650 ti at least It would be insane

I really need a reply for this sir . HP15S fq5006ne I3-1215U with 4GB ram upgraded to 8GB 512gb ssd it is also upgraded. Lenovo v14 i3-10110u with 12gb upgraded ram and 512gb upgraded ssd +1Tb hdd . I'm a student. I need a laptop for my study purposes and for occasional gaming. I really need my laptop to be faster, lagless in long run and smooth. The above mentioned laptops are available in same prices . Which one should I buy. I really really need your opinion on this sir . Please suggest me a good one .

I'm not sure how's the HP laptop since I don't have one to test it out.
TBH, seems like the HP will last longer though, but I doubt they can last for long given the specs.

one is soldered but one slot is empty, you can put a 8 gb stick and itll be 16gb

I actually use the ryzen 7 version for this purpose, 2gb of vram suffices , slap another (if your model has the other 2'5 slot, you need a 10 pin ffc to sata to connect it) ssd and some extra ram in it, would recommend you get ddr4 ram and you would have a total of 16gb, i got it for £420 on ebay with a £60 and it came with ram upgrade, i used that extra £60 to get an ssd
