Thankyou for all the embossing techniques
use thin tissue paper under the better press so you don't get ink on the plate. I have also used wax paper as well. You can still see the lines. Love your videos.

Oh wow! I did not know that about using the plastic piece to get an even straight edge on the cardstock. Best tip I have seen in ages! Thanks, Simon

I love your stamps and many of the goodies you have, I will have to tell you I hit a major score when I walked into a local thrift shop only thing I can imagine for them all to be their was someone’s passing, but their where maybe 50 of your stamps not many of your dies only one that matched up, I’m sure they are most likely some of your older stamps but for me I felt I hit the lotto lol I bought as many as my bank account would allow me with a few $$ to spare try like 40$ worth of them, ranging from 2$ - 4$, I did the happy dance all the way to the car. I thank the person for the donation of them or the family members that donated them. Because I love your stamps and dies but can’t afford them. 😢 Tfs this fun stuff you have love it. ❤😊

Simon, I like your collection. Really like the bunnies card. Have a soft spot in my heart for bunnies as we have them in our yard. They're a joy to watch. We also give them carrots and corn. Our daughter adopted 3 and since have passed. One was pretty young, and the 2 other were much older. She plans to adopt a couple more. They are a joy to have.
I have a hard time with fussy cutting, so I love that the dies come with the plates!

Simon, I love all your videos. They are always informative and at the right pace (a lot of craft videos totally annoy me). OMG I laughed out loud when you were putting the embossing folder through the die cut machine and you were staring at us and saying it was awkward. I have had vellum crack in places using the 3-D embossing folders. As always, another great video. I have just returned to card making after being out of it for almost 12 years. There are a lot of wonderful and new supplies out there. Love it!!

I have been trying to figure out a good storage system for my BetterPress plates and dies, so thanks for the great tips! It's very exciting that you are creating Press Plates and matching dies now - Kudos!!! I think the last card with the bunnies is my favorite today, but really do love all of them. So many useful tips today!!
Love that you showed the Stamping Foam some more. They work really well. Plus, now we have Awkward Letterpressing and Embossing -- Fabulous!

I laughed when you just put your inks on your table to ‘paint’ from. What better palette is there than the table? Lol
I believe that Simon is working on a large glass crafting mat, which you can buy at specialist craft shops. Never put inks on the table.

Hi Simon! I just got your Big Hugs set and they are so fun! I made a wobble pug card! I never considered a BetterPress, but I think I'll get one now because I really want to make your new bunnies! I have a question about your Amazon link above. Do you earn on anything on the Amazon site using the link or only your branded items? Asking because I buy a lot of general items from Amazon that I can't seem to find in local stores (boring stuff like mouthwash, etc). Seems like I like things that walk in stores have discontinued carrying. Have a good weekend!
do you need the betterpress platforms to use the die plates? or can these be used with the normal plates?

No. I find that it doesn't flatten the images. :)
Hey there, Simon, I have a question. What's the difference? Or I should say the benefit of letter press as opposed to stamping your image?
Good question! The main difference is the luxe inlaid texture that it gives the stamped impression. It feels very high end. :)

Hi Simon, I have loved watching you for a long time now but in this video, you are talking so fast I find it hard to listen to you.. Please can you talk a little slower it would be so much better it feels like you are racing to get all your video finished quickly. You are so inspiring teaching us all. xxx Chrissy
Try going to settings (wheel on up right of video, appears after you tap or open the screen) and change playback speed to 75%. It’s not too slow for his speech pattern.
