Sweet rotator !
I gotta say, that shit was amazing as someone who knows absolutely nothing about trucks or loading stuff.
I saw that trailer and thought "man this dude is fucked, how will they ever fix this?"
Made it look easy though. Very professional, good stuff.
What I don't understand is why did those cops at night make you wait until morning. Isn't there less traffic at night.
cops said people drive too fast and more chances of OUI accidents at night
More visibility during the day.
Beautiful landing Alex.
Should have been loaded at least 6 ft farther back and even then that trailer is not rated to 70k
Why didn’t heavy haul driver have the proper securement gear with him? I’m sure he was told what he would be hauling.
Id like to see scale ticket for that
Probably why is is driving at night, CHP scales are usually closed at night.
I find it hilarious that DUI drivers care about what time it is.
Most DUIs happen at night. Most drinking happens at night. Welcome to Earth.
Because they still have a job to get to in the morning and they go to the bars at night.
@@Nehpets94 Most drug use happens during the day so....ya
Those batteries are used at solar sites to store power .
The solar panels produce power during daylight and some of that power goes directly to the power grid and some of it is stored in large power cells like the one you are off loading. Most solar battery sites will have more than 100 of thoses batteries which is why you have seen so many of them on the highways
The load was not over the axles . Awesome job from pepes crew . Denis from Santa Rosa Ca .
You don't put a 70,000 pound load over the axles unless your trailer is rated for 140,000 pounds.
Looks like he needed the tag axle under the neck, maybe setting it back mid span might have helped enough before it snapped, looks like the wrong trailer for the job. Miller would like a call for you to buy the new 100t rotator.
At least he had his safety sandals on 😂
I hope the CHP fine those dudes and take their California licence away.
Wtf???
This already is going to cost thousands and that includes paying the cops to block the road. They don't do this on the tax payer's dime. The city bills the wrecker and the wrecker passes that on to the driver.
It doesn't look like the frame bolts are from this aluminum trailer, but from some other big rig that coincidentally scattered them there, or just spilled out from some cargo.
It’s wild when you use the drone and you talk it sounds like you are right there where the drone is.
I remember a company boss made the drivers place the load up towards the front to preserve the life of the tyres.
lithium is a high security risk to transport esp of that weight of 64K, did they have the permit to transport it?
"high security risk"? Erm? What?
Great job Alex and Dave and flatbed man. 48:29
The police officer walking around in your video reminds me of sergeant on the TV show chips enjoyed the video
