Knowing what you're doing and having the best equipment and rigging makes nightmare jobs like this look easy. Knowing what you're doing is always key though. I like how the rear axle was re-positioned so it could be front towed. Cool job.
If your only equipment failure is a camera; Its a good day. Enjoyed the video, remembering your primary job is the recovery and not you tube. Appreciate all the effort you and the team go to record these events.
Will you guys are so well equipped, and so well pre-prepared and so knowledgeable you should be teaching classes for the younger generation and what better than to learn from the best
Hey Josh !!! From the work that was done to that rear axle ,,it's very obvious that it was loose under the truck to cause the wreck ???? Great work by ALL in getting the truck back straight on the road with NO traffic issues !!! 🙃😉👀👀👍👍👍👍👍
@pepe's towing I drove by that crash on the freeway going to a job near that crash and also I drove by you when you were on the side of the road fixing stuff I wanted to flip around and talk to you but you were busy and I needed to get to another job and I wanted to make sure you were also safe also but I'm a huge fan of your channel
Wow this is amazing… can you do a video where you talk about the business aspects of heavy duty towing please? Where guys interested in starting a business like this can grasp a good understanding of what it entails financially and logistically. Thank you
Love watching your videos. I seen a guy do that with a 26' ihc uhaul. The road was shut down for a previous wreck, and this yayho decided to go thru the median The rear bumper drug it to a stop. Rear axle about 3 ft off the ground Truck was level.
Always super cool when your dad comes out!! Maybe you could get a little umbrella for the camera that keeps overheating. Cool video anyway. Take care and be safe!!
Almost but not quite as bad as the guy that hit the ditch then a pole and managed to park the box truck vertically against a house with the back way up in the air
Everything is dangerous when you work on the freeway. Just google how often cops themselves get hit during closures. You can minimize it or course but the danger is always there no matter what short of shutting down the entire freeway which isn’t possible
Pops was not about to put it in unicorn mode😂😂😂
Shut me down quick 😂

Gotta wonder how the driver got into that situation. Well done Josh and Dad! Great teamwork. Stay safe!

I always enjoy seeing your Dad out working with you, both of you are the best.
Good to See Your Dad Working with you again.I'm Surprised the Police didnt do a lane 1 Closure, Good Job Guys
Wow. So scary but so easy to do. Ya'll do such a great job. Make it look easy. Experience and equipment always prevails. Love watching!!
Another job well done, you guys make it look so easy. Always enjoy watching your work.
Josh and Dad another awesome video! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Man I say it look like symphony it looks so good that was so smooth good job
Wish you had told us how this truck got into that precarious position.
Great team effort. Its nice that they disconnected the drive shaft for you.
Will you guys are so well equipped, and so well pre-prepared and so knowledgeable you should be teaching classes for the younger generation and what better than to learn from the best
That was pretty slick. You've got the touch.
EXCELLENT WORK, HULK AND OLD NEW YELLER FLEXING. JOSH LET US SEE THE TOW AWAY TOO BRUH.

I think your first Idea was the best one.
the amount it moved as set free was scary for sure
1:05 Drive shaft is broken. Did that cause the accident, or was it caused by the accident?

Unexpected but good and beautiful action.
Good job Josh you and your dad is a awesome team

Josh. So good to see you and your Dad work the job. Nice rigging.
Looks like dad quickly nixed Josh's plan and devised his own.😊
Must have been a heck of a ride to get that box truck there.

The rear bumper drug it to a stop.
Rear axle about 3 ft off the ground

oh yeah the "on closer inspection plan"
Beautiful!! Artistry.
Great job guys
Great job well done.
Didn't even know that was possible... Good job.
I guffawed When you said unicorn mode LOL
That’s much easier to get that truck up there, than it will be to get it down !!!
These guys will make it look easy …
Great video.
You’re scratching and crushing the back of the box! ;)
Nice way to start the day lol, he really sent it lol
Great recovery 👍 😊
I was there right when it happened and I saw Pepe’s tow truck and knew it was gonna go up on RUclips 👏🏽😂
Nice job guys love the video say safe
saw your photos on instagram- I was waiting for this video!
Another awesome job 🤓🙋♂️👍
I really like the videos where you explain what you are doing yuore the best
Always super cool when your dad comes out!! Maybe you could get a little umbrella for the camera that keeps overheating. Cool video anyway. Take care and be safe!!
Umbrella won't help any. Those things overheat in A/C as well.
Man, front of that truck didn’t even look damaged!
Reinstall the driveshaft and just drive it to the yard! 😎
Work as a team I like it wow
I like the way you come up with these ideas your like the Mexican McGiver....lol
That WAs AWESOME !!!
👍👍👍
That's one of those "How, exactly, did you get there?" types of accidents.
the "If I told ya,you wouldn't believe me" accident lol😂
I would say, the rear axel coming loose, caused the driver to lose control
More like: "How fast was he going?"
Well, Josh, I guess you learned from the best your dad
Good job 👍
Great job Sr. You noticed the axle
Great job
Great video and yes do wonder how that accident happened, was the truck airborne to land that?
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
Hello there
Nice job!
Esse é mundial ! como conseguiu fazer isto??
Saw #53 this morning picking up a trailer the driver dropped off his truck off of la cienega in LA
I think you mean 55? Dave in his black /red rotator right ?
@@PepesTowingService I looked like 53 but ok you know your truck numbers you guys have the best looking trucks around
Our drivers are incredibly attached to their personal units. Remember...Take pride in your ride
ah yes the self removing driveshaft.
roadside allignment too!
Shredder and Josh. ❤️❤️❤️
NEVER GiVE UP .🎶
I’m new subscriber how long was your Dad was in business??
No sweat job🤙🤙🤙🤙
Did you take time to paint the truck 🚚 box before pulling 🤔 😳 👀 him out of the ditch 🤔 😳 😅 🤣
Nice of the driver to disconnect the driveshaft for you.
He gets a discount for that 😂
I thought the back was jacked, how did you tow it? Nice job, but it looks nuts on your alls freeways.
Interesting plan. Is there a difference in boom length between Hulk and Big Flipper?
This isn’t big flipper in this video but yes, there’s a roughly 5’ difference between hulk and flipper
What year is the 60 ton PETERBILT 379 your dad uses?
2022 cab with 2005 rotator body
@@PepesTowingService did he sell the 2001 to 2005 379 day cab?
Yes. It was an extended hood with less than 150k. New owner loves it
@@joeacosta5011is the new owner treating the 379 fine?
@@joeacosta5011 what do the new owner of Old Yeller use it for? The Heavy-Duty 2001 PETERBILT 379 day cab tri-axle single steer?
Plenty of room. Under there.
great job..
Seeing that truck like that, one question…… How in the H?????????
Damn did u joints fail? Those driveshaft will pick you right up.
Dads new rotator?
He’s had it for many years. The cab got upgraded though to a 2022
you guys are cool
What the... HELL? 🤯
thank you
weird how nobody slows down for you guys..
.
Hey Mr George, how much did you pay the driver? He's no good potato lol
Right ????
The best towing is pepe's Josh
...Until his father comes on site! lol
😂😂😂😂 big facts lmao
He's alright...lol
I gotta know why your camera keeps overheating?
Use your phone or any real camera and record in 4k 60fps in near 100 degree weather. You’ll see right away
sir you cant park there
Impressive
Was that a new rotator next to yours?
2022 Pete 389 w/Century 2005 60-ton tater
@@joeacosta5011 Nice! Ole yeller’s twin?😂
UPS/ tforce messed up 😂
Almost but not quite as bad as the guy that hit the ditch then a pole and managed to park the box truck vertically against a house with the back way up in the air
Did the driver think he was driving a 4 wheeler and decided to take a short cut? The driver should know you can't park there.
Slick
Another job where one truck could have done this by itself but with the second truck you had a lot more control
How would you have done this with one truck , I’m curious. Without causing further damage to the truck and without shutting down any extra lanes
I got an idea 💡 !! Lol
Like most accidents, this was due to excess speed.
Seems dangerous to leave that right lane open, why didn't the Chippes block that off?
Everything is dangerous when you work on the freeway. Just google how often cops themselves get hit during closures. You can minimize it or course but the danger is always there no matter what short of shutting down the entire freeway which isn’t possible
They had to respond to a fatality. We had a handle on it.
💪💪💪💪💪
I could done that with a pick up truck and a cumlong roflmao just kidding I couldn't resist the temptation to say it but great job as always
🤩cool
👍👍
you need a copper to block a lane.
4 wheelers still driving in the lane 🤦🏻♂️
Y’all make it look way too easy ..
No, after watching this video I don’t believe that I would hire you.
You couldn’t afford me clown 🤡
