That dude must have been flying around to ramp to roll ove going uphill. That's an impressive piece of work all by itself. And with all their new storage cabinets that encampment is going to be styling.
I think using PIP occasionally adds to it. Generally I like the whole screen view, though, as it's less busy and doesn't chop off part of the main view. Josh, I think you do a great job videoing, and I appreciate your work and commentary. Keep it up - I really enjoy your videos!
Alex is a great worker. He's the type of dude u want on a crew. Alex was the doing the hard work. Climbed the container and rigged it. Picked up the majority of the boxes all while never complaining. Great job Alex!
I like full screen with the PIP thrown in just a bit, like in this vid, to focus on a certain rigging or something...as bad as that one was ripped I was surprised it stood up well to the recovery. Good job Josh and crew!!
First time I’ve seen a container sliced open with that much damage! Spectacular! PS - Agree that our rain driving skills in SoCal have deteriorated after so many dry years.
The PIP is cool just don't get carried away with it. The speed up of the clean up is cool also. Job VERY nicely done and VERY cool video!! Take care and be safe out there!!
I have to say what a great channel. I have watched a few different recovery channel s. See some dumb dangerous stuff you always strive for safety first what a great group of true professionals
For what it is worth, I would have liked to see a close up of hooking up the container straps as the pic in pic. Having fooled around with trail camera video, I can appreciate the work it took to produce the video. As a NM desert dweller, your rain looked like a down pour. Thanks for your work.
love your commentary and the way you talk to your truck...one view at a time is better ,its easier to catch everything that happens....I wont care if it makes the video longer, its all good...🚛🚛🚛
so smooth.... and drama free, you make it look so simple. Everyone has their calling, many spend a lifetime searching for their and never find it, your living in yours. Congrats to you. and to answer your question, one at a time and cut. to hard to watch two separate things happening at once,: )
Josh, long time viewer and forever fan. I got the long sleeve Pepe's merch and its washed super well! Love wearing it out and about. To offer feedback, I enjoy the secondary picture inside of the main view one for critical moments. Most of the comments I see seem to be in agreeance and I agree as well. How you've been editing the videos has made it so pleasant to watch. Your commentary and look behind the curtain for say is always super interesting and insightful. Keep doing what you're doing, your channel is truly in a lane of its own in terms of quality and insight. Stay safe out there and happy new year!
I've lived on both coasts in the SoCal, NC, and NY regions for most of my adult life. I agree that the rains in SoCal can definitely be a driving challenge as it mixes with surface oils, just as driving in snow in NC and NY for those who haven't done it often to develop good maneuverability skills. When in NC, it snowed few & infrequent periods. When that happened, people were all over the road and off into the ditches, just as when they received freezing rain. All of it makes the surface slick as heck. Anyhow, love how you implement the picture in a picture for video giving another perspective. Rock on!
I live in Pennsylvania, it is the same thing here when it snows. Everyone forgets how to drive. I really enjoy your videos, I was out in LA in December at the port and recognized some of your recovery location. I enjoy the PIP, it gives an interesting prospective of the recovery.
I think the pip is OK if the view point is similar. I found the 4 panel layout hard to follow. I started to fixate on one of the views and then missed another. Really enjoy watching you and your crews work.
Awesome as usual Josh- I like the PIP, or the traditional way...no matter to me, but if one way can be edited faster where we could see content sooner, I'm for that- Be safe guys!!!
EVERYTHING U ALL DO IS PHENOMENAL FANTASTIC. UR CAMERAS FOOTAGES IS PHENOMENAL FANTASTIC PHOTOS 📸. THE WRECKER TOWING IN CALIFORNIA. U ALL DONE KNOW HOW PHENOMENAL U ALL ARE. CONGRATULATIONS HERO ON JOB WELL DONE.
Great footage. U have the artistic knowledge in putting together ur shots. Have u ever thought of cinematography🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙PIP is great. U r showing different angles/perspectives in how ur unit recovery is responding to ur set up. Very educational. Great keep it up🤙🤙🤙🤙
Really nice video Josh. I don't mind one little insert occasionally such as your colleague climbing the container and showing his perspective but it can be overdone. I prefer what you did today by showing the rollover from one camera and then showing it from another. However, it's great to have different shots like the drone and we appreciate that very much. Of and we like the beard!
Well donne! As for your question regarding pic-in-pic. Personally I like videos best that use a variety of filming techniques like tripoid- or helmetcameras and so I also prefer a variety in editing. 25 min of still tripoid-shots can be as boring as much as 25 mins of hectic helmet-views are nerving. An occasional picture in picture sequence can truly enhance a video, 25 min of the same I find to uneasy on my eyes and my brain. I guess its like cooking. A good mixture of good ingridences will make a fine dinner, an overdosis of the finest ingridience will spoil it.
Funny thing though, I've lived in southeastern Wisconsin my whole life and while nobody bats an eye at a rainstorm, any substantial amount of snow hits the ground and people who should really know better are out stacking cars in the ditch like cordwood. We just had a big snow dump here over the weekend. I did a parts run for work today to the next town over (10-15min trip) and saw 1 car stuck in a snowbank on an arrow-straight country backroad, and a minivan nosed into the ditch on the corner of a bone-dry and heavily salted intersection next to a truckstop. Like...how?
Josh, PIP may be fine on occasions if you could split the screen half and half and also in a way that detail is not lost to the viewer. What the heck give it a whirl just for the fun of it. Great work on many levels to you and the Pepe's Towing!! I'm also one of your fans from the northeast.
Hi ,from Newfoundland Canada ,,,I have back trouble and can’t get outside like I love ,Wanted a show to keep me interested ,,,Found your recovery show and hooked ,,Thank you ,,,Guys
The PIP has it's merits, when used right, and also when the cameras are well positioned,. So in this you showing from ground level what where Alex is whilst his camera shows the detail of hooking up the container (or at least it would with just a little bit more tilt forward). For the roll over part, multi angles in full screen for for me.
Awesome job so professional done y'all are amazing I love to see your videos keep up the great work and content with your videos say hello to papi chulo JOE ❤️💋💯🔥💯🔥💯🔥❤️💋
While Picture in Picture is cool, I prefer one view at a time as I’m subject to migraines and sometimes trying to look at various pictures/angles at once.
Not going lie but yeah im pretty sure that will be a top10 recovery of the yr for sure " I'd say top 5 but sir yrs short and I've been watching for yrs "
This ought to give you giggle and grins. I do subscribe to the RUclips site as well. Sumter Wrecker replied: "Mr. Hugh A little goes a long way. My crew at the fire station loves it as well. Stay safe" Yup, he got a bottle and is sharing it.
Maybe a previous truck dumped a case or 2 of paint on the corner & the container driver started sliding on it. With the rain, I imagine it would have been slippery. Container slides sideways into the retaining wall & flips over it. Anyway it happened, I'm sure they are busy sticking to the driver right now.
I always watch your videos as soon as they get uploaded and really enjoy them, great work. The PIP works for small segments but in this case Alex (?) needs to tilt the GoPro down a bit as if it is his line of sight. The captures slightly missed what he was doing, it just takes some experimentation to get the rIght angle. I'm in the UK and just love the Rotators you have over there, we dont get them here much and even the ones we do have are usually imported from the US by specialists with a lot of spare cash
I Googled some numbers that are on the boxes. Those are some cabinet of different sizes, they are priced 300-600 $ each at Home Depot. So I imagine the price of the whole container ...
Loved this recovery. My thought is the "paint" truck probably hadf his bucket tip and stopped or slowed down and the semi came up on him and swerved and toppled over. Paint truck probably left the scene.
That dude must have been flying around to ramp to roll ove going uphill. That's an impressive piece of work all by itself. And with all their new storage cabinets that encampment is going to be styling.
They selling space on Facebook Market Place, "all new fittings" etc.
I'm okay with your content however you present it. Just keep it coming to keep me buying your calendars! 🎉
I think using PIP occasionally adds to it. Generally I like the whole screen view, though, as it's less busy and doesn't chop off part of the main view. Josh, I think you do a great job videoing, and I appreciate your work and commentary. Keep it up - I really enjoy your videos!
I concur
@@nancyannirvin4507 And me
I am in awe, these guys are quiet braniacs
Your way of landing everything smoothly is absolutely professional. I once saw a slam, Josh didn't like it at all.
@3:10 home boy was hauling ass for that curve and weather conditions 😅😂
Noticed the two Caltrans workers standing around not helping you load the Landall.
Alex is a great worker. He's the type of dude u want on a crew. Alex was the doing the hard work. Climbed the container and rigged it. Picked up the majority of the boxes all while never complaining. Great job Alex!
Mr Josh You get some awesome recoveries and make them look easy. Thanks for sharing and stay safe
You're right about that, Mr. Hal. You guys stay safe out there, too.
I like full screen with the PIP thrown in just a bit, like in this vid, to focus on a certain rigging or something...as bad as that one was ripped I was surprised it stood up well to the recovery. Good job Josh and crew!!
I'm a big fan of having just one main screen and other full size screen clips in the video . Awesome video BTW , Pepe's #1 !
I enjoy the varied methods you use. If people there have problems with a little rain, I can only imagine what would happen with snow and ice.
First time I’ve seen a container sliced open with that much damage! Spectacular!
PS - Agree that our rain driving skills in SoCal have deteriorated after so many dry years.
I like the PIP layout! Right guys, right equipment, and right experience! Nice recovery... Ron...
YOU are amazing - not the equipment, the PIP or anything else! Your skill is amazing! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Great job you guys got some sweet looking trucks.
This would have been a lot more difficult without rotators. But, as expected, nicely done again.
The PIP is cool just don't get carried away with it. The speed up of the clean up is cool also. Job VERY nicely done and VERY cool video!! Take care and be safe out there!!
PIP Is Cool how You are using it Josh keep it up the dual perspective PIP is a good addition
Great to watch on a big screen. Good camera resolution.
New to the channel. Really like the various angle shots.
I have to say what a great channel. I have watched a few different recovery channel s. See some dumb dangerous stuff you always strive for safety first what a great group of true professionals
I like the picture-in-picture, it's super nice when used from time to time. The regular work is of course great.
You guys make it look so easy.
The dual camera shots are interesting....good job
For what it is worth, I would have liked to see a close up of hooking up the container straps as the pic in pic. Having fooled around with trail camera video, I can appreciate the work it took to produce the video. As a NM desert dweller, your rain looked like a down pour. Thanks for your work.
love your commentary and the way you talk to your truck...one view at a time is better ,its easier to catch everything that happens....I wont care if it makes the video longer, its all good...🚛🚛🚛
It’s cool, cause it gives you a different perspective on how you and Hulk are doing the job. Keep it going!
so smooth.... and drama free, you make it look so simple. Everyone has their calling, many spend a lifetime searching for their and never find it, your living in yours. Congrats to you. and to answer your question, one at a time and cut. to hard to watch two separate things happening at once,: )
Thank you Joshua for another great video
I love watching your videos I love the picture and picture get different angle every time you have one hell of a team be safe out there.
Alright! Jumping in in to watch this one. Looks exciting!
Thank you for sharing your amazing and so is your crew I like the double camera that you have you take care God bless
PIP is cool, gives us more content to view. Thanks, Josh!
Another great video Joshua ! Shredded like
The shredder
Josh, long time viewer and forever fan. I got the long sleeve Pepe's merch and its washed super well! Love wearing it out and about. Different camera's are Kool. Different camera inside main image; also Kool. Great job, as always
Hey Josh & ALL Crews !! Great fast recovery to clear the ramp !!! 🤔🙄👀👀👍👍👍👍👍
I've lived on both coasts in the SoCal, NC, and NY regions for most of my adult life.

Nicely done. Great video. Thanks.
Expertly done, as usual.
Love watching these videos!👍🏻💙💜💚
Josh another great video! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Another great job but a big mess to clean up thank you for your videos be safe
I love your video from you and Hulk
Must have been an "E" ticket ride for the driver. Pray there were no injuries.✌
yeah, picture in picture is good for me, great job..
I live in Pennsylvania, it is the same thing here when it snows. Everyone forgets how to drive.
I really enjoy your videos, I was out in LA in December at the port and recognized some of your recovery location. I enjoy the PIP, it gives an interesting prospective of the recovery.
I here you, it is the way it is in Minnesota.
Awesome job guys
👍 on multiple angles, cameras and pics.
Hello from Michigan.
Enjoy your videos. Keep the good work.
Yes, that’s cool Josh all the pictures that you took
Josh another great of by you and your crew always enjoy your videos also good information always
Definitely keep the new format.
Boxes of flatpack furniture?
That stuff is dense and HEAVY. Truck must have been absolutely *flying* up that hill.
I think the pip is OK if the view point is similar. I found the 4 panel layout hard to follow. I started to fixate on one of the views and then missed another. Really enjoy watching you and your crews work.
Cancel Christmas on them! Great video Joshua greetings from Mexico
PIP is cool. You gotta have fun doing it
Top Job Guys.....
another fine job completed!
Very nice work 😊
Awesome job with the pip
Love that 75 ton
Truck 88.
Used to live in SoCal and the first rain of the season is really the scariest. All that oil on the road then add the water and all hell breaks loose.😱
Glad no one had to dangle over the side of the bridge!
Awesome as usual Josh- I like the PIP, or the traditional way...no matter to me, but if one way can be edited faster where we could see content sooner, I'm for that- Be safe guys!!!

Good morning from Southeast South Dakota

Did CalTrans make you guys attempt to pick up what fell into the homeless camp?
Well donne! As for your question regarding pic-in-pic. I like that you are using more video shots. Keep that up
When I saw the damage to the side of the cab, that must've been so scary for the driver.
So a giant can opener in Los Angeles
Funny thing though, I've lived in southeastern Wisconsin my whole life and while nobody bats an eye at a rainstorm, any substantial amount of snow hits the ground and people who should really know better are out stacking cars in the ditch like cordwood.

They don't want to slow down for the snow & ice. Hammer down.
what do you think the weight was on that container i bet it was way over loaded like most of the containers that come in to the USA
Definitely top heavy if it was wood all the way up.
Gotta love those Cal Trans workers watching you guys load trailer. Looks like one of their guys was helping. Lazy asses.
Yet another text book job by a great tow crew, interestin couple questions tho, what happens to the stuff y’all hauled off? Do y’all get to keep it?
Josh, PIP may be fine on occasions if you could split the screen half and half and also in a way that detail is not lost to the viewer. What the heck give it a whirl just for the fun of it. Great work on many levels to you and the Pepe's Towing!! I'm also one of your fans from the northeast.
Hi ,from Newfoundland Canada ,,,I have back trouble and can’t get outside like I love ,Wanted a show to keep me interested ,,,Found your recovery show and hooked ,,Thank you ,,,Guys
I like a mix of Multiview and single view.
So how did you secure the side of the container to keep more stuff from sliding out?
The PIP has it's merits, when used right, and also when the cameras are well positioned,. So in this you showing from ground level what where Alex is whilst his camera shows the detail of hooking up the container (or at least it would with just a little bit more tilt forward). Wow! What a mess!!
man nice job
While Picture in Picture is cool, I prefer one view at a time as I’m subject to migraines and sometimes trying to look at various pictures/angles at once.
That L.A. River looks like it was flowing bank to bank. Usually it's just a small stream down the middle. I like the PIP once in a while.
I like the panoramic
Not going lie but yeah im pretty sure that will be a top10 recovery of the yr for sure " I'd say top 5 but sir yrs short and I've been watching for yrs "

I like the multi views, I fact I was hoping you would fly a drone
the PIP layout for me is a bit "messy", I prefer a single larger view, then from different angles.

Hope you boys brought some shrink wrap and tape. Going to have to restack that container so it can be delivered.😎😉
I Googled some numbers that are on the boxes. Those are some cabinet of different sizes, they are priced 300-600 $ each at Home Depot. So I imagine the price of the whole container ...
The PiP is fun.
Loved this recovery. My thought is the "paint" truck probably hadf his bucket tip and stopped or slowed down and the semi came up on him and swerved and toppled over. Paint truck probably left the scene.
What was the truck carrying in the containers
