    It is seldom you see the a group pull together like this. Guys that just showed up to help. Everyone knew their job and everyone worked together. No other tow channel has the variety of recoveries, the professionalism and workers who are also friends. Easy to see the foundation of PEPE's success. If there was a Pulitzer for a recovery video, this is a shew in. Thanks to the whole crew and Josh for producing a great video. You guys are the best. During my second time viewing this, I thought about the "environmental" truck. So smart to repurpose a used truck than to create a new one. Decisions like this are how big companies get bigger.

    • @lightningdemolition1964
      @lightningdemolition1964 6 месяцев назад +3

      Agreed. 35 years ago when i was just starting out i would do anything to make money including transporting cars. I thought about doing more towing but realized it was a 24 hour a day job, you need duplicate equipment from day one in case something breaks down. Special training to do wreck recovery or just so you dont accidentally damage a car, insurance for a new business, etc. im glad i left it to my competition.

    There are multiple reasons as to why I never miss or dislike watching all of Pepe's Towing videos but the absolute best without a doubt is the attitude. Every single member of your guy's crew seems to really love and enjoy what they do and the comradery, teamwork and communication is so far above and beyond literally anything you see from anyone else regardless of the type of work or any other type video put up by others. Everyone of your crew gets along so well and works together not afraid to ask about any question and the responses are always respectful and explained in detail in order to help them and the whole team in general. Its just fantastic to see because I've grown so sick and tired of all these "reality shows" where they all just fight and argue and do nothing but bs around and accomplish nothing.

    Thats a lot of dead weight big Flipper drug out...holy moly!!! Seeing how the trailer fared once upright I was amazed...relatively decent shape except as you noted up front where the air bag ended up popping out during the uprighting process.
    You guys never ever fail in doing a job right, in as timely a fashion as possible and always with safety number one.
    High fives to you all!!!

    Fantastic recovery! Another example of late braking into a decreasing radius turn.

    I know its impossible to pull that out without causing any more damage but do you ever have caltrans second guess your methods and say you should have done it differently. I know half the commentors on you tube think they know how to do it better but they dont count.

      Very rare. There has been a couple of times, and it makes you want to hand them the remote and say fine, you do it then.

    Bet this scared the heck out of that driver!! He's probably still shaking. 😢

      The driver was surprisingly calm! They mostly seem shaken up but I think most of them just chill to the side out of embarrassment.

    Pretty amazing recovery. Dave and Alex did an incredible job! One way to judge that? I didn’t see your dad having to jump in and change their plan of attack. As always, a very professional company and workforce.

      I think the CDL handbook talks about high center of gravity and slowing down on curves in the first 2 or 3 pages. This guy really wanted to this bad. Took a lot of effort.

      It was a nice truck. The trailer has been part prepared for repainting - it will buff out.
