Thanks a lot for this video! It really helped me. Please keep posting videos about this car, is what my Daughter is driving, and I know it will need a lot work.

Hi RB, great video! Question, if I need to resurface the rotors, how do you remove them, if the Philips screws holding them are stripped? Thanks for your help!
Well here’s a video I did on that ruclips.net/video/0y_k0Q2c6nY/видео.html Anyways if ur remove the rotors to resurface it’s bad idea best to replace it u will spend more on resurfacing the rotors
Thanks for another great video. Doing the similar but no matter what I do, one piston is not moving, tried to crack 10mm brake bleeder some fluid came out but caliper is not budging, any tips? Thank you
No I never did that in my 13 years of mechanic work you only open it to take out the brake fluid if u did you brake flushes on regular u don’t need to do that
Really great detailed video. BTW, one can use a C clamp instead of that fancy tool. Also, watch out for overflowing the brake reservoir when pushing back the pads.
C clamp works great on the front brake piston BUT the rear piston IS THREADED and must be compressed with a special tool as shown in the video. I found that out tonight. Some parts stores will loan these special tools, often for free.
Thanks to your video I found that out tonight AFTER buying a 6" C Clamp...which did not compress the piston, just as you said. THANK YOU FOR SHARING AND INFORMING.
Good job but you took off two spring loaded things, one top, one bottom. How come you didn't put the top spring loaded keeper back on the pads? Plus you should have shown the profile view of that so people could see exactly where they go.

I'm experienced at this but I wanted to refresh my memory. Thank you for a GREAT and thorough video!
Yeah always good to check before attacking the job I do the same
Thank you. Great job explaining how to change the pads.

Yup thank you

Rear r twist and turn
@@RBTheMechanic Exactly what am trying but not budging, using a lot of brute force but no luck :(
I was told that during the piston compression process you must open the bleed screw because it can damage the ABS sensor.
No I never did that in my 13 years of mechanic work you only open it to take out the brake fluid if u did you brake flushes on regular u don’t need to do that
only need open master cylinder cover when u push piston its help to get out air from system thanks
Great video bro very helpful and detailed 👍🏽
Thanks you answered all my questions.
Very good explanation
before to push piston back should open master cylinder cover thanks
Yup

Pretty sure those rear pistons are threaded; c-clamp won't work there. Good point about the reservoir.

Great video! Why does the the piston turn when you compress it? Can't you just use a large "C" clamp?
No it need to twist since it’s caliper that used for ebrake as well c clamp wount do it
Thanks to your video I found that out tonight AFTER buying a 6" C Clamp...which did not compress the piston, just as you said. THANK YOU FOR SHARING AND INFORMING.
Great work !!
What’s that tool called that you use to turn the piston
Caliper piston compress tool kit for honda
Oooo 💥 nice wrenches dude !!🛠
Thank u snap on. Not fan of them anymore

It only requires one

You forgot to open the brakes reservoir...that's why is too hard to push the piston back.
Yes open the cap it will make it easier
Why only 1 spring clip if it had 2 on it?
I will look in to that
What brake grease did you use?
Where did you get the tool from
O’Reiley has good selection of rental tool. I checked our their website and they have this tool part # 67090
