    Enjoying this project , thanks for posting it . Put together many of these through the years so am very interested in your method . I get depressed with all the cad around now . Making by hand is so much more satisfying. Cheers👍

    because the stone is covering the holes and so tight u have to have the prongs steeply angled to basically jus either match teh angle of the bottom facets and move them closer slightly to slide over and contact more material or slighly angled toward the stone but have to cut out more from the inside and much much harder to match perfectly. prob will have to do some filing or bending either way but at least there's options which is good. love this project so far, good work
