When I was in the Army in 1960-61 in Sacramento, a lowly PFC w/a pregnant wife & a 2 yr old daughter, a draftee btno Greg Hogue,a son of a Hollywood Director played his Martin acoustic for us & never before or since have I ever heard any guitar come close to the beautiful sound of a Martin!!

Maybe you didn’t watch when Brandon was doing flattop Fridays. With his spec check and wonderful finger and flat picking, no one, not even MA, has ever done it better. He is missed.

Love those Martin's, great playin' there! I had a D-35 back in the 80's/90's and had to sell because of a mountain bike accident. I'm still missing it....

Martins are still the best. Just wow all the pearl inlays and even though the wood might not be the same as the vintage ones, sure the best stock goes into their top tier guitars. The modern build quality is at an all time high. Mean you can just hear how solid that guitar is. Someone could really dig into it . Angela and Jen are just beautiful. Norm is smart to have such an amazing staff and marketing team. Just appreciate the opportunity to listen to some amazing instruments and performers.
I love. D-45 I wish I had one lol. I have a Martin HD-35 and I love it. I’ve had it 11 months now.

that's a beauty! and the guitar ain't bad either. No but all joking aside that guitar sounded great! very full rich sound -so much better than the D35 I first heard her play.
Confident bass rich professional sound. Angela, not a note astray. Brings back, csny vibes. Angela is so talented. If she broke into song whilst playing I think choirs of Angels would harmonise. The guitar a myth amongst musicians who maybe look in a lower price bracket. Worth the money to channel your inner Stephen Stills. Another Icon David Crosby rip was always with 1. take Care norms 1 and all...the Cat with no teeth TM (media therapist)

The herringbone work on these guitars is something to be witnessed up close. It looks like they've updated the tuning keys. Mine don't look like that.
I have the herringbone d-28. After seeing the gold Martin decal and the gold herringbone immediately ordered gold Grover’s. The factory chrome just seemed mismatched. Played a 75’ takamine d-45 clone for 30 years identical in appearance to this Martin. It had gold tuners original.

If you see Neil playing a D45 there's a 99% chance it's his 1969 Stephen Stills gifted D45.
