Love the tips on cutting the meat and potatoes and why you do that. Your little whisper..love it. Your recipes really do make life easier and easy to follow. Thank you so much Chef Jack
This video had a slightly different feel to it. Not sure why. But it felt a bit more personal. I really like it. The recipe looks delicious and pretty simple too. Thanks.
Just when we thought Jack's videos couldn't get any better, a cat makes a cameo appearance. 😻😻 I feel there should be an introduction video of said kitty. 🥰
Nice and easy meat ingredients, but I'd skip the baby potatoes and siracha and opt for baked sweet potato and capsicum and no sauce as they'd add the sweetness. Great meal prep recipe Jack. Cheers 👍🤤😀
I could see this going with a Nice bag of salad from big tescos to add some vitamins and minerals (and to cancel out the ton of butter that got added!)
Hi Mate, love your videos very much with out you and your videos I would know how to do anything what so ever. Can’t thank you enough for teaching an Old man to cook 👩🍳 😮
Question for you, dear Jack: why does it always have to be unsalted butter? When salt does go into the dishes? Does salted butter (which I prefer) not cook well? Could I not simply use it and just reduce the amount of salt added?
You can use salted butter and reduce the amount of salt if you don’t have unsalted butter. I use unsalted to control my seasoning and use better quality ingredients
Just found your channel and will be trying your recipes. I have a question regarding the meal preps. When you’re ready to heat them up after they’ve been chilled for a few days what is the process? How long in a microwave and at what temperature/wattage? Thanks

Do you try to cook the steak more on the rare side? I always find when I reheat in the microwave the steak becomes too rubbery and overcooked and trying to figure out the best way to reheat this in the microwave. Any recommended microwave settings?
G'day Jack, I know this has nothing to do with potatoes, but considering that too much salt is bad for cardiac health I actually don't use salt at all because I don't like the taste), why do chefs drown everything in salt? I've watched all of the top chefs do it eg Ramsay, Oliver, Marco, and you also. Why is that? I always omit it from recipes.
Just like too much salt is harmful, salt deficiency is also harmful. You probably get enough sodium from other sources, but just FYI. Also, I would guess that most people think that adding salt to food makes it taste better. That's why people who cook (professional chefs and most other people) add salt to food.
@nazcraz11 I understand that the body needs sodium, in minute amounts. It's in just about in everything we eat. What we get from food generally is more than enough for us at a cellular level (I have a medical background). My parents and grandparents would use salt all the time. It was a must and they'd know the difference. When I used to cook, I would pretend to salt the food. They couldn't tell the difference. It was mind over matter. Quality produce does not need to be salted, and neither does your body.
@@courtneymcgregor3417Everything we eat? It depends on what you eat. Someone who doesn’t eat many carbs doesn’t retain much water but also secretes trace minerals in their urine and therefore would require more salt to replenish their sodium levels. This is a delicious recipe. Thank you.
Mmm garlic steak bites
Chie's favorite
Big THANK YOU for another great recipe ❤😊
Looks good, but needs a veg and less potato. I'm thinking of adding broccoli. Broccoli would be delicious with garlic butter sauce. 💖🌞🌵😷
All these recipes are for you to swap and change to make it your own
thanks for another amazing meal jack, can you tell me, how long do those meals keep for in the fridge?

Welcome! Heat them in 30 Second or 1 minute bursts until hot. In all honesty I don’t think I’ve ever looked at wattage on a microwave in my life haha

I think I’ll make potatoes like that once I get tired of rice

When is the next one coming out bro?
In the process of a big transition should be the next couple weeks
need more red meat recipes
More to come!
Can you use chicken in place of the beef?
You say put in the fridge but how do I avoid freezer burn
Hi Jack. I’m enjoying all your recipes. Wondering if you could please make blue cheese sauce to go with steak
You have a cat!!!
Two haha
How are you getting the garlic smell off your fingers??
Wash them 😅 seriously though, I just use soap and water after every time I do something
Is it me but the sound vanished after cutting Rump...its ok...Ive sorted it...
With such low fat content, how are those steak bites not super chewy and rubbery?
I think I’d sear the edges then maybe slow cook ‘em.
Because its rump steak, nice and soft.

Isn't that too much garlic for social relationships? 😬
Nope
