Suggest, cook salmon skin side down to get that nice fry fish flavour. Then flip over n add in the cooked sauce to simmer cook the fish. Plate up, also suggest rice in middle to separate protein n vegetables so the flavours not mixed. You can still enjoy fresh veggy flavour n fish flavour with each mouthful of rice. Thank you.

I always like adding cinnamon to my salmon when you cook it in the oven or on a pan the cinnamon gives the salmon a sweet but a little bit spicy flavor which is so good
This has become a weekly staple piece for our house 😁 we swap soy sauce for liquid amino and butter for a little oil bc of dietry restrictions. Dont do the lemons (always have just forgotten) and swapped between chicken broth or stock (bc sometimes but the wrong one) and it is still ridiculously delicious. Thank you for this easy recipe!

Hi i am a student trying out homecook recipes. i just made it but the sauce got burnt😢. I put it on the lowest heat but the sauce just got thicker and thicker and more and more black, not like yours. Even when i threw away the sauce and just cooked the salmon at the lowest heat it still got burnt. do you know why that happened?
I love your videos! I mostly cook chicken, rice, and broccoli and this would make a nice change! I do have a question. Does the salmon smell fishy when reheated? That has always been a concern for me and why i have not strayed far from chicken!
Glad you think so. It would change the whole cooking method if using chicken. If you’d prefer this with chicken, you’re best using my honey chicken meal prep recipe.
One of the biggest Issues I have with Meal Prep is, while I love Rice, the rice is usually relatively bland, especially a day or days later. More sauce is one option, but do you have any ideas how to spice up the rice itself? Like using soy sauce or vinigar when cooking the rice?
you could make it similar to how he did in his curry chicken meal prep where he put it in a pan with a few seasonings and that makes it has a sort of under flavor if that makes sense, like tasting smoky; just enough to taste but not enough to conflict with the main dish. i imagine there are many other rice seasoning recipe's that incorperate the same or similar methods.
If I want to cook the salmon in the oven, would you recommend creating that same glaze, covering the salmon with it and letting it marinate for a while then, pop it in the oven?
I just made it tonight, It was something out of this world. The entire family loved it. It Was a bit hard trying to mix the salmon, so I just added all of the spices to all the sides and salted it lightly. Thank you for sharing this incredible and easy recipe.

I also add the cinnamon right before cooking so it can carmalize on the salmon and not penatrate it

I don't eat a lot of fish due to inaccessibility but this is nice. I can't find a piece of salmon like that where I live.
