    Thanks for your work. i always hated cooking and was really bad at it until i discovered yout meal prep series, i now cook twice a week, i lost wieght and my wife loves the food too. thanks so much, my daily life improved greatly.

    I’m a new subscriber and I just wanted to thank you for making it easy for me to cook for me and my son as someone who hates cooking lol.     Thanks for the recipe! Learn from my mistake - after searing the broccoli and beef, I returned the broccoli to the bottom of the wok, underneath the meat. When I added the sauce, all the broccoli absorbed the sauce and barely any of the sauce made it into the meat.

    I’ll be trying this in the next few days Jack. I think it would be helpful to share the size of the wok you use. Think mine is smaller so might have to do the broccoli and beef in batches.

    This beef and broccoli stir-fry is a total lifesaver. Quick, easy, and packed with flavour. Love that it's budget-friendly too. Perfect for meal prepping.       Haha that’s why they go in the freezer and you bring them out when you need it. It’s not designed to be eaten every single day unless you like doing that

    Can you please explain how to use bicarbonate of soda to tenderise beef, as you mentioned in this video?
    Do you simply sprinkle the bicarbonate over the meat, massage it in and then leave the meat for around half an hour - or do you leave it for longer?
    Then, before cooking, do you rinse the bicarbonate of soda from the meat using water or do you just cook it with the bicarbonate still ‘on’ the meat?
    I would appreciate an explanation.

      I’m not an expert but I’m from a Chinese household. You can massage the beef with baking soda and you can directly cook the beef with it. You don’t have to rinse it off. The longer you leave it the more tender it will get. If you have the time you can marinate it for a couple of hours but if not 20-30mins is good enough. You can do trial and error and adjust the timing accordingly to the beef texture you like

      @@ChefJackOvens yea florets have significantly more vitamin A then stems 60 percent vs 8 percent stems.
      Fresh broccoli florets and stems each contribute more than a day's worth of vitamin K, the nutrient that helps prevent excessive blood loss from injury, after surgery or during menstruation. Either broccoli part also delivers at least 5 percent of the DV for several B vitamins, as well as calcium, iron, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium and manganese. You still have time to take your reply down lmao

      Meal prep is only on Sunday. Are you not seeing the other recipes I’m posting throughout the week that are seperate to this?
      Plus this recipe isn’t any different. I make food and work out the macros for those tracking. This same meal is delicious served in a bowl instead of a container.

    Why not use metric measurements? Stop using 'cups' or use metric as well. The world isnt the US.
