Made this with mashed potatoes & mixed veggies last night, it was so simple & absolutely amazing!!! Thanks for another great recipe to add to our rotation!
Tried this for the first time tonight. So delicious! I walked into the kitchen to clean up and hubby was practically licking the pan. Lol. A great addition to my recipe book!
Um, are you saying he used a few leftovers and rubbed them along the bottom of the pan? I've done that before. Just switch to very low heat and try to get the leftover glaze to liquefy. Then "wipe" it down with your last two or three salmon pieces. Also makes the cleanup easier!
I made this today and it was the best tasting salmon I've ever had in my life. I made parmesan garlic mashed potatoes with fresh chives and kale greens on the side.
Jay, I just made your recipe for the second time. It is outstanding! The only problem with it is that my wife now thinks I’m a chef and she’s going to start expecting meals like this all the time 😂. Thank for your RUclips video
Omg! Made this last night and my entire family and I were licking our fingers. So good!!! I accompanied it with some jasmine rice, pineapple salsa and avocado and it was perfect.
I made this dish and all I can say is OMG!! The Salmon just melts on your tongue 😋😋‼️‼️ I made mine with mashed potatoes, Caesar salad, and asparagus with lemon, garlic and cherry tomatoes with mozzarella cheese on top. Yummm😊
Just wanna say thanks for sharing your videos because you done help take my cooking to another level. I actually made the grits & cheese, salmon and shrimp using your ingredients and I tell you!! My wife and I LOVED IT.
Excellent recipe! i substituted salmon with cubes of chicken breast. Amped up the garlic. Also didnt have lemon pepper, so improvised with splash of lemon juice and ground pepper. Can’t wait to try this with salmon!
These salmon bites look fantastic! Totally agree on adding the soy sauce, it combines so well with honey and garlic. I've been looking for a good salmon recipe, can't wait to try these out!
Thank you for being so descriptive and including heat settings too! I hate when recipe videos just assume we know what heat setting things should be… excellent work 🙌🏾🙌🏾 subscribed!
Of all the things I miss about living in Alaska, having free salmon all the time is at the top of the list. Especially in the summer when everybody brings bags of smoked salmon in to work to share.
My husband, my son and I are HUGE salmon lovers. We can have it every night for dinner if it wasn't so expensive. I've made it many other ways ... I will try your recipe tonight and try to post a picture. Thanks for sharing 😊
Wonderful recipe! I was lazy though and just cooked the salmon whole. Used a pan and cooked on the grill! Delicious and so quick & easy! Thanks for sharing! God bless you!
I’m not necessarily a salmon lover however. I just made this recipe for myself and my girlfriend and it was by far the most enjoyable salmon recipe she ever had and for myself, I just plain loved it. Thanks Jay, can’t wait to make it again for company.
This came right on time! Wanted to make some salmon bites for Thanksgiving. Realized I was missing some of the ingredients for the other salmon bites video recipe I was going to use. Found your recipe and how simple it is. Can’t wait!
Jay, I made this recipe a few times and today I switched it up. I backed seasoned my filet and backed it and added the garlic honey butter sauce at the end to each individual plate. It was a hit with the family.
Just wanna say thanks for sharing your videos because you done help take my cooking to another level. I actually made the grits & cheese, salmon and shrimp using your ingredients and I tell you!! My wife and I LOVED IT.
What I love most about your channel is that you almost ALWAYS have simple ingredients that everybody typically has in their cabinets. I’ve made a handful of your recipes and they were all bangin! my daughter loves when I make your fajita stuffed chicken. That’s her fave, and was the very first recipe if you’re I made 2 years ago ❤️🫶🏽
That’s awesome, that’s definitely a goal of mines to make things easy! And that fajita stuffed chicken is definitely one of my favorites, I’m glad she loves it!
I found this recipe and forwarded it to a friend who loves to cook. We made this together and the aroma even brought my younger, picky-eater brother out of his room! Everyone at the table loved it! Great recipe.
Started my healthy eating journey a month ago wanted to do something different with salmon, I’m glad I came across this video I’ve made this twice already so good 😋 thanks for this recipe 💕
I made this at home the other night, I'd definitely recommend some tweaks to it. I'd half the butter because it made my salmon quite oily, which it didn't need. Definitely let that sauce cook down so it thickens, if you don't cook off some of the water, it'll be very thin and runny. If your sauce isn't thickening as quickly as you'd like, you can add some corn starch to it. This meal can go well with just about anything on the side, Jasmine rice, pasta, veggies, or even potatoes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DISH
Tried this tonight and it was super tasty. Might have overcooked some of the bites accidentally but the overall flavor made up for any issues caused by that. Also for my sides I had some garlic parmesan mashed potatoes and green beans seasoned with lemon juice and pepper. It all came together really well
Made this with a side of rice and a salad. I added the soy sauce which was a nice addition and some crushed red pepper flakes. My family loved it and requested a remake ASAP!
This looks like pure deliciousness ❤️ I can’t wait to make this . One side note (I should not be watching this at 2:00 am ). My honey pots are empty - Thank you for this great recipe Jay
Oooooouuuu! I’ll be making this recipe today for dinner so I can bring to work for leftovers lol! I’ll be making a fresh veggie mix medley and mash potatoes!!
Lord help me, I cannot wait to make this. Thanks for showing how it should look every step of the way, repeating what the heat should be at, and the narration/recipe text combo! Going to be able to cook right along to it, super excited!
Yummy. I didn't have salmon so I did this recipe with chicken breast. Also instead of Old Bay which is for fish I used Slap Yo Momma. I cut the pieces larger because the chicken shrunk the first time I did. Placed over brown rice and sided with Italian seasoned mixed vegetables, my husband loved it.
about to make this tonight. so excited. i never cooked salmon before. i’m tryna learn how to cook chile lol. i’ll keep y’all posted update: it was good af!!!
Looks great! We substituted a few of the ingredients for a lower calorie honey mustard sauce to drop the sugars a bit. I put up a video on our channel if anyone needs the recipe.
Holy WOW. This... was... amazing... Prob one of the best meals to come out of my kitchen in a long while. Even my most fish-timid child *devoured* their dinner. THANK YOU SO MUCH Jay for such a *fantastic* simple ingredient meal. Got a "subscribe" & "hit the bell" from me!!! You got mad kitchen skills!
I tried the recipe. Thank you for sharing. Unfortunately I had to use what I had because I was so excited to make it. I replaced honey with light agave. Also added the soy sauce . Omg wow awesome. I will make it again for sure. I'm proud of myself.
Tried this recipe tonight.. tasted as delicious as it looked with just the dry seasoning on there and smelled while it was searing! *chefs kiss Definitely trying more of your recipes!
I never comment like this but I made this last night with mashed potatoes...Best salmon I've ever had! I used soy sauce like the recipie says and also added a bit of red pepper flakes. Amazing!
Good Sir, I dont know if you’ll see this or not but I tried your recipe for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. By far the best salmon recipe I ever had. Plated it over rice and it was amazing. Thank for sharing such an amazingly good recipe I look forward to sharing this with my family next time Im home on leave. Again Thank You.

go less with the oil then, keep the butter

this is my first time on the channel! i love your energy, i’m definitely going to be trying these this week
I watched this video back in February when I was first admitted into the hospital. Watching good cooking with a sensual voice got me laughing and hungry as ever. These yummy videos getting me through some serious stuff, thank you good sir! 🩷
This recipe was great! Some notes:
I think most seafood counters will take the skin of the fillet if you ask, but I forgot to. So you can do it pretty easily at home if you skin side down, get a corner of the skin with your hand, hold knife at slight downward angle as you work it through, separating the fillet from the skin. It's probably much easier if you cut the fillet in half, so you have thinner, longer pieces to work with.
We halved the honey and it still had a great flavor, we might make it again with the original amount of honey, but with some type of spice (chipotle, habanero?) to balance it. This recipe will be great with sweet/spicy.
added the soy sauce like mentioned in the video, don't skip!
extra garnishes we did, a few dashes of sesame oil, sesame seeds, togarashi etc.
Served it w/ rice this time, but absolutely making this again with something like mashed potatoes.
