Tried them tonight. Delicious. The only tweak I made was add a tbsp of cornstarch in water to the butter/honey mix before adding the meat. It made an almost glaze on the meat and the flavor just stuck to the bites. It was great!
So I came across your video and I should say I watched it yesterday and tried your recipe today and I didn’t have the rosemary so I added extra garlic and oh’man they came out fiber licking awesome I did it yes indeed. Thank you 😊 for the tips
The cook time will vary depending on the temperature you like your steak, example medium, medium rare, well done. I did flip them in the initial sear and proceeded to toss them in the butter sauce
It's important to remember... If you like your steak medium-rare, you really need to sear it quickly, and leave it almost rare inside in the first step of cooking the meat. This means a very hot pan, and the ability to work really quickly in turning-over the pieces. That way, when you 're-introduce' it to the pan later, you can THEN cook the meat to desired done-ness, and avoid OVER-cooking it, which is... really a shame to do. I also noticed that, when you acknowleged that there is a 'hotspot' in your pan, you should have showed viewers how to 'handle' that situation wisely -- which is to put your thickest and fattiest pieces of meat in that hotspot.
Hey man I’m going to cook this in a few days. Thanks for the clear explanations. How high are you running the stove when you initially put them on the cast iron? Also when you make the garlic butter how high are you running the stove again? Please and thanks.
It really depends on the temp that you like your steak, I recommend a thermometer as some people like theirs well done , some people like it medium rare
@WhipItUpWithJay Sorry to bother you again. A few questions: 1. How high to put stove on? 2. When searing each side, how many minutes would you say per side? 3. Could this be marinated for a couple of hours before searing? Thanks so much in advance. Esther
@ to get a nice sear o put the stove as high as possible and turn it down to medium once I add the butter, I sear it for about 3 mins per side, but peak before that should you don’t burn it. And yes you can marinate ahead of time
Wow‼️ made this today and OMG that thang was soo good. I was laughing because I found myself mimicking you while I was cooking 😂😂 Thanks for these helpful food tips. I be feeling like I can cook sometimes 😂
If you cook it correctly it should be soft. I don't reccomend cooking with Teflon, use cast iron or stainless steel cause you have to cook on high. U want the steak to basically sear when it touches the pan. Only flip once Even once in the sause, you just coat and cook for maybe 5 mins or until it boils. Over cooking your steak is what makes your steak tough and chewy. Hope this helps 👍🏻
Well, I'm now drooling just watching this video! I totally agree with you about cutting up steak into bites before cooking it. I've been doing that about a year and the taste is incredible. Thanks for this video. Diane
It depends on how you want your steak, everyone prefers theirs cooked differently (example: medium rare, medium, well done) therefore the time will vary. You can use a thermometer to check

I made this and It's100% AMAZING!! everyone in my house loves it!
How long did you cook the steak in the butter and did you flip them?
The cook time will vary depending on the temperature you like your steak, example medium, medium rare, well done. I did flip them in the initial sear and proceeded to toss them in the butter sauce
@WhipItUpWithJay i know time depends on how you want them vooked but i was asking how long you particularly did lol. They look good
@@WhipItUpWithJayI would like to know how long you did it too. Or an estimate. I’m new to cooking so this would be helpful. Looks good 😍
Made this tonight, was delicious. I usually will make something like this to serve over price or mashed potatoes or a side of asparagus.

then what can we do if we want to re-introduce the pieces to the pan later without overcook them (if i need them to stay medium-rare)?
@@sarasalameh4354 re-introduce them into a low-heat pan and check the inside of one piece to see how much more it needs to be cooked. simple.
Or melt the butter and toss the melted butter over the steak bites in a warm metal bowl. So that way you’re not putting the steak back on the stove
how many pounds were the ribeyes so i know how much seasoning to put on sirloins
Can I use beef shoulder clod to cook this recipe? It looks delicious.
Cooked this for dinner this evening. Amazing. Tender garlicy and just divine. From Melbourne Australia.
That’s awesome! I’m glad you enjoyed

When steak goes on its medium high, can also be high (depends on the stove) the I lower it to a medium when I add the garlic & butter
@@WhipItUpWithJay thanks boss I’m going to make it for my family! I subbed and liked great work!

Do I have to have a cast iron skillet for this? I have a ceramic stove top.
@@TribeleaderJustncast iron works on a ceramic stove top, and you willl get the best sir with a cast iron but any pan will work
Great video bro. Thank you for specifying that you used salted butter. I'm going to give your recipe a try tonight.
Hey question does everyone use olive oil to cook these ? Or any oil will do just fine ?
In my opinion you can use other oils that are good for frying but since he goes the Italian route an olive oil that's good for frying is an idea.
Can’t go wrong with steak and butter - YUM
What can I pair this with?
I love mines with some roasted potatoes and some sautéed broccoli
I have a question ? Salt for beginning?
@@dominikatylka4009 I don’t quite understand the question, but yes I did use salt to season the steak
