Stay broke until you cannot stand it anymore then plan and then 10X the plan. Once you have the plan, you have to commit, because in order to work the plan you have to save and save. I have two golden rules and I've always been more than fine with my money:
1. spend less than what you're making and when you do spend...
2. ...learn the difference between 'want' and 'need'
Thing is he knew If he kept telling people to save money in his educational programs back then they would eventually stop spending that money on his products so he flipped his sales strategy based around. "Spend money to make money" by spending it on his products telling you to spend money to make money by spending money. It worked 👍

I used to watch Grant, he actually helped me at the beginning giving good financial advices and life advices, I stopped addictions thanks to his free advice (never paid nothing). When he started flashing sh1t I knew he was on another boat, and I sailed away. People... What a strange world.

Anyway, long story short, it was a motivational video and what he did was filmed himself and put his video in the middle of the 8 min video.
It was one of those motivational videos where it has 30 seconds of people who are successful telling you not to give up on your dreams, etc.
Everyone's videos were very high quality and then Grants video in the middle was like it was filmed on his phone.
Was super weird but obviously, that video went viral because of the other people and because people trust in those others, people started thinking Grant was on their level too when he clearly wasn't.

Anytime I see somebody who is big on Grant cardone or puts it all over their social media, that's automatically somebody I don't want to hire.
One can pinpoint the exact moment when Cardone got his knickers in a twist. It was that debate/podcast with Jordan Belfort. He got humiliated so damn badly that no wonder it happened. And I'm not claiming Jordan is any better, maybe he just dragged Cardone to the dark place with him.
And I'm not trying to get any clout etc. by saying this, I'm genuinely sad that this change has happened in him. I have read most of Cardone's books and way back when even considered him, be as he may over the top, to be a some kind of role model or similar. Damn this recession is messing everything up.
