1:30 - A little more on this. Grant was at one point a legit rich person, then got sucked into Scientology. In the 90s, he was already the biggest auto sales trainer in the US. Today, that means nothing since you can just make videos and post ads. Back then, you actually had to go door to door to dealerships, offer to run sales meetings for free, and drum up interest in your seminars. He was and still is an actually good salesman. In the early 2000s, however, he changed his product completely after someone (if I remember right, his brother) got him into Scientology. Today, 90% of what he says is just "translated" Scientology. Almost none of his ideas ("10x", "the four degrees of action", and yes, even "no interest is a level of interest") are his own - they came from L. Ron Hubbard.
Just an FYI: Elon Musk's family owns fucking diamond and emerald mines in South Africa. He's not even remotely "self-made". Oh, and GC isn't even close to being a billionaire. Case closed.
lol yeah people act like musk had a dad on welfare. Buffets father was a stockbroker and a congressman or a senator and I read somewhere that bezos parents put like 250k into Amazon to get him started in the early 90s. rags to riches is mostly a myth, upper middle class private school kid with college educated professional parents to riches that is fairly common
He is self made. But however - he came from a wealthy background which can make all the difference - people with a wealthy background can afford to take a risk. Bill gates and mark Zuckerberg came from a background. But at the same time we cannot discredit their achievement. But it proves that background and circumstances play a part.
Cardone said something like "you have to keep remaking that commitment" meaning you have to keep sending me money, which is exactly what every televangelist says.
To be fair, you don’t need to be a billionaire to know how to become one. You can only make money so fast, wether it’s from working or investing or flipping property. It takes time. You can be a multi millionaire and have a good cash flow setup to becoming a billionaire in the future. I’d say if you have the skills to break over a few million, you can easily make it to a billion. Because the thing is, the more money you get, the more money you make. So it’s exponential. It’s like how football coaches don’t actually play but know how to play...

Just watching again so this video keeps popping when you search "Grant Cardone"
Just did the same after watching Scott Shafer's latest video.
@@maifantasia3650 yeah, I'm here because of that video too! xD
Like the WWE, Grant Cardone’s videos should have a “Don’t Try This at Home” disclaimer

Also Grant Cardone:

I think his net worth is 2.5 billion$
Just saying shit at this point 😭😭
I love the subtle jab coffee does at 4:50, callin joel osteen a motivational speaker 🤣
@An Equal Possible? yeah but not probable
@@barbellsamurai8014 yes!! Wish people would spread that
He is self made. But however - he came from a wealthy background which can make all the difference - people with a wealthy background can afford to take a risk. Bill gates and mark Zuckerberg came from a background. But at the same time we cannot discredit their achievement. But it proves that background and circumstances play a part.
But at the same we cannot discredit their success. Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk they basically they pioneered their industry.
"You have to do something crazy..."
Yes and that is to pay to $12,000 for a seat.
And that is indeed crazy.
Those people lost 3 days of their life and possibly became dumber after listening to him ramble.
A sit worth a mercedes benz
And they'll be forced to pay again, thus proving his 'forced to do crazy' to stay on top.

well, he comes from the church of Scientology, so there's that. your intuition wasn't far off 👍
Cults all the same as well.
Cardone said something like "you have to keep remaking that commitment" meaning you have to keep sending me money, which is exactly what every televangelist says.
Same breed of person.
Grant Cardone himself isn’t even a billionaire!
That’s how stupid the general public is unfortunately
To be fair, you don’t need to be a billionaire to know how to become one. You can only make money so fast, wether it’s from working or investing or flipping property. It takes time. You can be a multi millionaire and have a good cash flow setup to becoming a billionaire in the future. I’d say if you have the skills to break over a few million, you can easily make it to a billion. Because the thing is, the more money you get, the more money you make. So it’s exponential.
It’s like how football coaches don’t actually play but know how to play...
He does have Billions in debt leveraged...🥸
His net worth is around 300m with cardone capital having 1.8billion under asset management

I'm here thanks to Scott Shafer.
He replied to this?
This sounds less like an entrepreneurs seminar and more like a seminar on “pitch me Scientology without saying you’re a Scientologist.”
Grant Cardone: “You’re the asset. You’re the one that is going to climb the wealth mountain. You need to make the decision. Collaborate with power. You’re going to have to pay to play. You’re going to have to do something crazy.”
He’s always been like this, slimy. Don’t forget, he made his initial chunk of money through sales, which he then reinvested in real estate. It’s hard to continue scaling exponentially in real estate, so he’s shifted to just directly selling dreams to ill informed individuals.
You’ve been sold countless times so what’s your point?

So true.
'Elon Musk was not a baller all his life' oh please the guy's family was rich from Blood diamond mining, he then went to a world class University THEN he joined a web startup in the ideal point of the dotcom bubble!
It also bears to mention that he is almost certainly incredibly intelligent and most people simply are not.
But in any case it does not invalidate the main argument that it is not just anyone who can become a billionaire just by having the right mindset, in fact it even reinforces the argument of social immobility of the richest layers.
@@MA-go7ee on top of his very, very high intellect he's also simultaneously likeable and ruthless, most people do not win genetics like that. And as mentioned before, rich parents.
I’m glad you mention that very important fact about Elon’s family history in the diamond mining business. I respect Elon and own shares in Tesla, but it seems most publications about Elon tend to hide very important fact, that he was not a rags to riches story, he was always rich, just in different stages and businesses
But his dad made him pay for his own student debt...

When you learn someone is a scientologist that person instantly becomes 100% less credible.

@@gadget00 nothing about being a scientologist is respectable
@@themischief420 I see you haven't heard or read any of Cardone's material, and you just heard he's a scientologist and shut down. I understand that; but we adults don't do that, specially when Cardone barely (if ever) speaks about scientology in his material.
I found out he was because some other scientologist spoke about it and had some beef with him; but in his videos and reading material, Grant only speaks about "being active in his church" without giving any details about it
