  • Ever wondered how we know when a mic breaks in professional theatre? This week I'm letting you in on how we monitor, what issues are the most common and how we fix them in shows like Phantom of the Opera, Hamilton & Mary Poppins. This one is for curious cats and performers who want to know a bit more about what is going on around them/happening to them in the workplace! 🎤

    hey thanks for the videos! I keep having to wear headset microphones which is super annoying because they are quite uncomfortable to wear. Could you maybe go into "which microphone for which show/occasion etc."? In other words, how do sound designers choose which microphones they put on us performers?
