At the end when you are shooting it seems like you are working really hard to shoot fast. Yeah I think a single stage with no take-up, no creep, no over travel and no reset would be awesome. I am waiting for an FRT trigger to be made now that they are legal. Putting a 3rd burst into the target will be great. Have you tried the timney or the fostech?
@@filfarmerpacnw4868 thx for the note…not trying hard at end but trying to be sure all the shots stay in the zero down part of the idpa target (USPSA is faster!). I have a video sharing my thoughts on the timney
@@HKShootingwithDerekG Ty, sir. Just watched that one. I had heard the reset had some shortcomings, but it sounds like that is a dealbreaker for you. I’m not a fan of the reset on my binary trigger either, BUT it does at least force your finger forward. I am in 100% agreement that a single stage is a missed opportunity here for both/all companies.
I just got my heckfire in the mail. For some reason once installed on my SP5 I cant charge the weapon. The trigger pack doesn't seem to seat all the way down, it rocks back and forth
Hi, you should call Art at Shootingsight. You may have installed it incorrectly and as far as the wobble, I am aware of tolerance issues with the new HK ambi housings that may require an easy shim to remove the wobble….easy adjustment if you have any wobble….as far as charging, I am betting you installed the ejector lever incorrectly…..love to hear back
@@GraveDigger78Just push it down! Put a drop of oil on either side of the pack and I bet she glides right in there!!! If not, do 30 push ups and retry!!!!! Be sure your clip is off your ejector axle.
One of my favorite songs!
What do you think of the package with the Franklin arms binary?Trigger in it for the m.MP5/SP5
My Franklin has been crapping out on me. Binary has been spotty.

Derek, did you compare this to the Timney and prefer the Heckfire? If so, what do you like better about it?
I have a video regarding my thoughts on the Timney…..In short, I am no fan of the Timney

I will double check the ejector thanks for the suggestion. The pack fits tight in the housing. It just doesn't seem to go all the way down.
