Kids at home making noise so I cued up some Alabama here on my phone and let them take me to that happy country place in my heart ! Miss you dad ! Wouldn't have known country music if it hadn't been for you !
I first heard Alabama when i visited the USA in 1982 & they won most awards that year which i recon they earned so well, they are a fantastic group & i'm glad i've got their CD's because there aren't any radio channels here in the UK that play country music which is gutting.
Some awesome music has came to the USA from the UK too 😍 can't think of any country bands from your side of the Atlantic but the UK brought us the Beatles and Sir Elton John and Phil Collins and so many more like I believe Queen ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nothing takes me back to growing up in Alabama like this & Song of the South!! We were dirt poor, never even had a air conditioner which was bout unheard of in the 80s, but listening to some Alabama on the creek hunting crawdads, while my folks watched Alabama play on sat morning, butter beans & cornbread for dinner w some stewed okra😁 alot simpler back then, growing up sucks!!
Yeah, growing up was so much better than now! I had live Country Music in the front yard everynight, growing up! No TV, didn't need it had guitars, banjos, fiddles and mandolins outside every night down near Somerst , Ky! I grew up that way! We were poor, but we dance and ate a lot of Pinto Beans!
When I was a little girl ,I was raised on Alabama, My Parents loved this Band, I remember , Going to see this Band, At The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, We would go every time they came, My Mom And Dad Always Love Them, The Whole Family
I love Alabama. Watching them play guitar I really wish I took lessons years and years ago. I have 2 things going against learning. Number one I am 55 yrs old and number 2 is I am a lefty and trying to find a good lefty electric guitar in Canada is extremely expensive. I missed my shot.
You can have your Luke’s, Blake’s, Garth’s or whomever. They are a dime a dozen. But to me none of ‘em touch the heels of Randy Owen & Alabama. I think we’ve forgotten just how good Alabama was/is. And just really good people.
I am so glad you like this like I do! I don't care if you are not like me! Half of my family is blended! We have so much fun together! God Bless and keep you safe! Love ya!

I saw them in person when I was about 6 years old in 1980. They have been my favorite band ever since. I just love to two step
Sadly, Bobby Wofford, who drove the equipment truck for Alabama and Big & Rich, passed away 3/26/2024.
Great song. Country music will never be like this again 😰
NOPE!!
Saw Alabama for the first time in 1984 at the Broward County Youth Fair in FL. What a great concert and memory. Still love these songs and sing them at karaoke the crowd always sings along.

Just saw them in concert 2021. Still rocking out and sounding great!!!
I've been to SO many over the years. Last one was with my husband & it was before he suddenly passed so sadly in 2007. I just bought tickets the other day. They're coming here to Roanoke, VA. June 3rd and I have my 5th row seats in the middle on the floor as I wanted. A long time GF & I are going.
I'm so excited.... Wish I knew how I could get an autrogragh some way and My husband always looked like a remake of Randy Owen. Unbelievable.
***** Alabama always been my number 1 ***** I CAN'T WAIT !
@@katherinemyers1519 they’re coming to us soon, are they still worth seeing without Jeff Cook and Mark Herndon?
I didn't think they were still doing concerts! I loved them they were great!! The Best!!
🎉they’re still the best
Hello hope your having fun listening to them🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
07/2021 my French wife has cancer, we play music ridding daily to the hospital for radiotherpy, (170 miles round trip) today I put the Best of Alabama, first time for her and she was dancing in the car trying to sing with them... She just saw this video and thinks they're great. I'm a disabled Vet from CA "adopted" by the South, now living in Normandy. Y'all keep at it !
Still listening in 2024. Miss those days when music meant something.
Yess Appalachian girl for life 🙌 they don’t make it like this anymore
I'm 15 and this is one of my favorite bands
You're 20 now, Is it still one of your favorite bands?
Good taste young man!
Always be my favorite!
Math says you're 21 right now and you're my age. I grew up on this that's how I know it
im 13 and its up there with johnny cash, the highwaymen, leroy van dyke and the like
The only time I seen my grandparents, actually grandma took is his hand in dance, in my room... both WW2 veterans, one a gunner and one a nurse..thanks for the incredible members. 30 some years ago...
My first concert as a kid was when my daddy took me to see Alabama. It was at the Mississippi Valley fair in Davenport iowa . In tge year 86 or 87
Wonderful, classic country music.
Love this pure country group.
Hello there Jennifer nice meeting you here
Hands down ,the best country band ever!!!!!
When music was great, unlike nowadays. Legends will always be legends. No question.
Back when America was great also.
Right before i played this a Florida Georgia Line commercial came on I i thought how did from this great music (Alabama) to absolute trash music (Florida Georgia Line and Sam Hunt)
Todays music is not country. Sounds like pop and all girly songs.
I love watching Jeff cook play that double hand guitar you are missed mate
I think of papa and granny when I hear this song. I miss and love them very much.
RIP JEFF COOK.. 😔🙏😇
THANK YOU FOR SO MANY HITS OVER THE YEARS.. HEAVEN GOT ANOTHER SINGING ANGEL TO HIS CHORUS OF ANGELS 😇
@Mark Vazquez Hi! Happy New Year from my family to yours, I wish you all the best in the New Year 2023. I hope that the coming year is full of amazing opportunities and experiences for you.

Hey Rebecca, hope you r good! Jeff is really a lengend
This was at the Charlotte Coliseum 1984, I was 5th row on my dad's shoulders at 4yrs old. I'll never forget it and tonight will mark my 10th and final time seeing the Boys In The Band! Greatest Country band that ever was and will ever be!
This just brings back SO MANY GREAT MEMORIES of my teen years in the 80s.
This also MAKES ME PROUD TO BE FROM ALABAMA!!!
Much love from Mobile Alabama.
RIP Jeff Cook. This guy could play!!
Alabama this concert was the best ever...& I've seen good ones but no one can top them
Great music never dies ....
CHEERS 🍻
Legend do .
CHEERS 🍻
If you are from Alabama and you don't like these guys. Than you don't belong in Alabama.
What’s your favorite Alabama country song?
Amen 💯
Edit: You don't belong in USA.
Gone but not forgotten one of the best guitarist and fiddle players in the business Rip Jeff Cook
This guy formed in 1980 this guy's should be in the country music Hall of fame
Hello how are you doing?😊
I went to see Alabama.. back in the 80’s.. the first concert… I went to.. my date stood in line with me for 2 hours 😂.. I didn’t know after you got an autograph.. you got a kiss 💋.. when I got to Randy ..”I asked if I could have some sugar “.. he said .. why you sure can… I melted.. like.. butter in a skillet 😂😂.. will never forget that!!!!!❤
Shitfire! It's 2022 and Nashville ain't got nothing like this now or ever will again!
Kids at home making noise so I cued up some Alabama here on my phone and let them take me to that happy country place in my heart !
Miss you dad !
Wouldn't have known country music if it hadn't been for you !
Jeremiah Walton 💜😁💕🥰
I love this song, also! Sorry for your loss! BE happy, be safe and well!
👋🇮🇹
I first heard Alabama when i visited the USA in 1982 & they won most awards that year which i recon they earned so well, they are a fantastic group & i'm glad i've got their CD's because there aren't any radio channels here in the UK that play country music which is gutting.
Really, not one Country Music Station, are you young enough to make a show of change over there! Protest, make it happen!
Country music isn't like this anymore
satellite my friend
Some awesome music has came to the USA from the UK too 😍 can't think of any country bands from your side of the Atlantic but the UK brought us the Beatles and Sir Elton John and Phil Collins and so many more like I believe Queen ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Really Sheila and worked on this project rem the twin
Fun times~ Have loved these guys for years~
Yeah, life was simpler and a whole lot of fun! Musicians on front porch , everybody had something to eat! I loved how I grew up!
I’m one of the chosen few myself!
Best times ever!
Grew up in the 80s with my mom listening to alabama. Thanks for showing me good music mom R.I.P
When I was a little girl ,I was raised on Alabama, My Parents loved this Band, I remember , Going to see this Band, At The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, We would go every time they came, My Mom And Dad
Always Love Them, The Whole Family

The Rockstars of mountain music. 2023!
Brings me back to my childhood! Growing up in the mountains this song hits home
Hello 👋 Melyssa how are you doing!!
I live in the mountains of Georgia and absolutely love it. Country music is in my blood-red up with listening to Alabama and still love them today.
That's nice
I'm from Denver Colorado but presently working at Alaska Arictic
I’m here infinity!
Dave Whitlow they were very popular in the early/mid 80's when I was kid/teen. Got played on top 40 radio a good bit.
@@Coolkingman My daughter and I have always been longtime fans of your music! So glad to hear that !
I'm really tired of Luke Brian singing about corn. The man is corn.
Best country band of all time....they will never be surpassed.
Alabama the best...and I mean the best. They are the best country group of all times. I absolutely love their music. TRUEST OF COUNTRY MUSIC!!!
I always enjoy what you share here on RUclips but we're not friends yet, I will love to be friends with you.. how are you feeling today.😍💯
