I love the vocal harmonies. Music today needs progressions and harmonies like this. Particularly, country. It sickens me what mainstream country sounds like today. This song is a soothing balm.
I was raised in denver, but traveled the south for 10 years. Fell in love with the places and people. Recently found the band Alabama, around the time I left the south. Love these guys, thier music embodies the feeling I felt in most of the south. I hope to return to Dixie and put down roots one day.

This goes out to all the essential/expendable workers like me that toughed this thing out! Peace and love! Keep this country running and doing what you do!
Driving down the road the other day, I started singing this song even though I haven't heard it in years. I could still remember most of the words. When I was a late teenager, my friends and I would listen to Alabama, Oakridge Boys, Hank Williams Jr..... you get the idea. I drove a pickup truck of coarse. Still do. Then life got more complicated and confusing and I got into listening to heavy metal music which was never upbeat, more angry like I was I guess. But now 35 years later, my life is just about as fine as I could want it to be. So I looked up this song and have listened to it numerous times thinking about my younger days. The good days. Now I have to look up Green River!
I just saw them last night in Spokane, WA. It was incredibly emotional for me. This is music I grew up listening to with my mom. We didn’t have much growing up, but she would blast Alabama while she cleaned and being able to bring her to see them in concert felt so full circle. I hope you have the best time!

I followed this band in the 70’s growing up! They were the ‘BEST COUNTRY MUSIC BAND’ EVER!
Luv’d them ❤!
Thank you for the love and support you've been showing us the Alabama band over the years cheers🥂
Miss this type of Country Music! These were the ‘Good Ole Days’!
Country Music is not the same music anymore! Many of the new artist have lost their way!
? 4 U - I used to be in your Fan Club for years!! Is there a way I could get an Autographed Picture sent to me if I pay to purchase this from you? Let me know, either way! It’s ok, if no!

I always look forward to hearing this at the Alabama football games. Its crazy to hear a packed out stadium singing this song with the Alabama added lyrics. LOL ROLL TIDE!!
If you know you know. If not go check out the videos on RUclips of dixieland delight at Alabama Bryant Denny stadium
Nothing like Alabama fans singing a song about Tennessee 🍊
@@x7w6nothing like a team with 0 sec championships in the last 20 years trying to troll a team with the most sec championships. Roll tide
This song will never get old to listen to its one of my favorite song from Alabama ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for your support Jeanette
This goes out to all the essential/expendable workers like me that toughed this thing out! Peace and love! Keep this country running and doing what you do!
I really wish that i could have shared this song with my best friend back in the 1990's.
I miss her
We are better for having heard this. Thank you, Alabama.
This song picked me up when I was going through the worst years of my life. And now I live in the country in Alabama, and I couldn't love it more! 😊
My 3 year old daughter’s favorite song. Especially when that fiddle part hits.
Maybe you felt the Vols were about to go hypersonic
This has to be the best country song of all time!! 🤠🎸 🎶
Going to see Alabama on Saturday July 8th in Calgary Alberta Canada. So excited 😊
I just saw them last night in Spokane, WA. It was incredibly emotional for me. This is music I grew up listening to with my mom. We didn’t have much growing up, but she would blast Alabama while she cleaned and being able to bring her to see them in concert felt so full circle. I hope you have the best time!
@@meganstevens20 your story is touching I'll definitely have a great time. I'm taking a friend tonight to see Alabama live in Calgary Alberta Canada. 😁👍

Absolutely love that the Tennessee Vols played this Alabama song tonight after the FG win over Alabama Roll Tide... In Tennessee... On a Saturday night... How ironic🤣🤣🤣..... Just seemed so extra special tonight after such a tough game for both sides. What a way to take this song back to Tennessee where it belongs.
Ehh. Kinda feel like Luke Bryan or the Backstreet Boys would fit Tennessee better 😂
Go big orange!!!!!!
