Hello. Wow ok perfect video. I am flying in 3 days. it is not a really long flight, 8 hours from Canada to Italy. I like standing up maybe 20 minutes to strech my legs, ankle, knees... I go just beside the toilet doors where there is a little bit more space without disturbing people. I do my stretches quietly and slowly.
Thanks for the video! Liked and subscribed because of the skeletal and muscular views on left side of screen while you demonstrate the stretches nicely on the right! Love the attention to detail.
🤩yay!! then i made the right choice to include the little skeleton hehe! I was thinking it might be too nerdy so i was like "man... do i include this???" Thank you for your feedback! I now know the answer 😁🤓
Your videos are so helpful and well thought out! I screenshot the parts where you explain the muscles with the exercise for easy reference during the flight. Loving all your detailed other travel hacks videos too, you think super practically and your tips hold a lot of value given your physiotherapy background ! Nothing gimmicky here on your channel, all tried and tested formulae
This is GREAT information. I wonder if you would consider creating a PDF cheat sheet illustrating the content that people could download and print? I don't fly much, but I suspect some of these would augment the physical therapy sessions that I take to remedy shoulder and neck issues brought on by hours spent at a computer workstation.
Thank you for the video! I always get so stiff and my gluteus maximus hurts so much that I have to use my pillow as a seat cushion. I'll definitely give that acorn a try for my next trip ❤❤❤❤
@@iheartsushi90 for me personally i would not only because I’m not a light packer already (I over prepare lol). So I can’t justify taking up the space! However, in all my clinical years and working with so many different bodies, I would say nothing and no tool can ever replace body movement 🥰. So if you are also not a light packer and just can’t bring a supportive pillow, the best thing to do is get an aisle seat, stretch out a lot, and keep your body moving a little every hour ❤️
@@buildyourmoxie That won't be a problem there. Small bladder, and bc of my sensitive stomach, I can't eat airplane food even though it's made the same day that you're flying
Just found your channel; some of the best on YT! I have a 12 hour flight coming up. Can’t find anything on YT for using a cpap in flight. Looking for info on how to keep machine and/or extra travel battery charged as it seems many airlines don’t allow a cpap to be plugged in but they do allow use with a battery. I’ve looked at the anger site and emailed them so hoping they have something small and portable. Dint want to be that person who might snore and, of course, not ready to give up travel. 25million people use cpap therapy so surely I’m. It the only traveler interested. Thanks
Aw thanks so much!! Hmm take a look at this one for cpap. amzn.to/46zVDBi I think it might depend on the airline you are going on. But looks like USB-c might be the best option! amzn.to/3F8iecI this is mine from anker that I use for my laptop. I brought it on the flight in carry on :) No battery packs allowed in check in cuz of fire hazard. But carry on is okay!
Hi Erica! Great video! My hammies are always tight! Ouch! 😖 That Knotty ball looks cool... I'll have to check it out! I'll also have to check out physiotherapists locally. I've heard of chiropractors sure... but not physiotherapists. Is there a big difference? 🤔
Hi Tony! 🙋🏻♀great to see you again hehe! what country are you located in? Physiotherapists is the term used a lot internationally and physical therapists is the term we use here in the US! Physical therapists are basically experts of body mechanics and movement analysis and then prescribe exercises to help people optimize their function (through strength, mobility, coordination type exercises)! So long story short, if someone has pain, we will analyze them and then figure out a way to get them better through a customized program hehe 😁
Thank you so much for this. I have one question I had knee surgery replacement and it didn’t work and I have severe arthritis in my knees and I can’t get my knees up to crossover as there’s some other way I could do those exercises instead of crossing over my knees, thank you I enjoyed listening to you. You are very kind
Hello! I totally understand what you mean! If the stretches are too hard to do in sitting, I would research some bed stretches for the glutes. There are many that don’t involve the knee too much! :) In the plane I would recommend the massage ball Tiger tail thing to help you stay mobile without having to stretch in harder positions on the knee :)

Hello! =D Cramping can be from so many different reasons 😝. One of the things that I have found personally to be helpful is to make sure I do some strength training in my legs as well as a couple cardio days a week, but everyone can be different. Some medications can also cause cramping as a side effect! Sometimes it can be due to lack of hydration and electrolytes but not always the case. And sometimes it can be from exhaustion too! It can be hard to pinpoint so if you are making any changes, do one at a time and see what works!
