Those bloody marys. Sigh. I finally started having to order them "naked" because there is only so much bacon one person should eat in a day. They have them on the Panorama too, my last cruise. They infuse the vodka with all kinds of veg and they're just one of the best I've ever had. I haven't been on the ship yet and have already decided Summer's Landing is going to be my main hangout. Our cabin is right near the aft elevators on deck 9. Ugh, 101 more days and I'm already obsessing! But hey, that's how I found ya'll's videos! I tend to make up for my casino losses in free cruises, so it all balances out. I pretty much never eat at the buffet on Carnival anymore, and actually even avoid the MDR for dinner. On this ship, that's easy to do at least. That buffet is just sad most days and there are just SO many better options. It sucks that some are upcharge, but I'm on vacation and not spoiling it with hospital cafeteria level food. I even prefer the MDR for breakfast, even on port days. P.S. Team Kala!

Also agree with food! The cucina capitano and the chi bang are the best free options on the ship and I’d eat there everyday!

Mad respect for your willingness to travel and find a way to get to the cruise. I complain about the two hour drive to Port Canaveral. Did get to see the Space X launch in early October. Didn’t notice the accent until the second video. Found your channel from the review of this ship.
Omg it was a stressful trip there but we had an absolute blast on this cruise, we're so glad we tried Carnival and we can't wait for the Jubilee. This was back in February so we didn't see the launch. We're so glad you found our channel thank you so much for watching! 😎🍻☀️

The Alaska Cruise was so nice..the glaciers was just wow!!!.. I know you guys were disappointed you could get on it but for me just seeing it from where you were was awesome!..Ive booked to go on my first ever cruise with my family on Ovation of the sea in Jan 2024 it's just a domestic one up to Queensland from Sydney for 9nightd so I'm so Excited for that!...& I Just want to say that I LOVE YOUR VLOGS! ☺️♥️👍🍹🍹

Hi guys…Great video! Celebration looks like a fun ship, we live near Galveston Tx port and the new Carnival Jubilee ship is coming to Galveston this year, we might think about going one day. We checked a few years ago and Carnival doesn’t have anything that matches the free alcoholic drinks onboard Royal Caribbean…we made it to Diamond Plus so now we get five free drinks a day, so it’s Royal forever for us 🤣! You are going to love cruising Alaska on the Ovation of the Seas, we took this cruise in 2019, the Music Hall is fabulous, don’t miss that venue on the ship!!⚓️
Those Crown & Anchor perks are really the best aren't they? Congrats on reaching Diamond plus! I think you get a BOGO specialty dining and 2 free nights each with the wifi, so good!! I don't blame you for sticking with Royal forever. We definitely have to factor it all in when we budget for any other cruise line. We have this one coming up then we are on the Oasis this later this year so we have a couple Royal ones coming up. Thanks for the tip we can't wait to explore the ship! ☀️🍻😎
Great cruise! Really helpful for us as we are booked on our first Carnival - Mardi Gras, for new years. I keep going back & forth on it, there are some things I don’t find particularly appealing (carnival lido crowds lol) but I’m glad to see there are so many great areas on the ship. Can’t wait for your Alaska series! We embark in 2 weeks from Vancouver! 🚢 🏔️ 🐳
That's so exciting!! We leave on Wednesday! Mardi Gras on New Years is going to be an absolute blast, we'd love to try a New years cruise. I hear you on the crowds, we definitely loved the alternative pool areas, I think Tides pool had the second largest crowd then Patio and Serenity were the quietest. Have an awesome time in Alaska we can compare stories after lol

(for shuffleboard) the puck has to fully cross the line of the section to get those points. so, if it's on the line between 1 & 2, it's 1 point no matter what. also, if it hangs off the back end, that's worth 4 points!

Thanks again for taking the time out of your vacation to show us what this amazing ship is all about. So my wife and I got the drink pack was it worth it? I will definitely average 6 to 7 drinks per day plus water coffee and stuff like that.
The sea day brunch is always our favorite spot for breakfast.

It was so fun to experience all the venues and cocktails and to just have a stress-free experience with it all prepaid. We definitely need to revisit the brunch and get some of the Blue Iguana breakfast burritos I missed out on! We didn't do the white party! I think that night we bumped into some friends we met on the cruise and got a little distracted! The pillows there come on the chairs at the Patio Pools, they were so great because it was a pillow AND a towel holder. Thanks for watching!! ,🍻☀️😎

Thank you so much! I may need you to clarify, are you talking about reserving the pool chairs? You can hold them for 30 minutes I believe. if you were to go get a drink or a quick bite then come back within 30 minutes that's ok but you can't outright reserve them unless it's like a paid cabana or something like on Royal. 😎☀️🍻

We use our GoPro when we are out and about and on excursions and then we use our Nikon when we are on board and inside ☺️
There’s always more room for content creators!! Do it!!!
(Also just note that it is hard work and a lot of annoying audio and visual issues to work through haha, so just be aware)
Legit question about the "seat saving", and no this is not a seat saver shaming question! So you saved the seats....but you're not in them...I was told that was a big no-no with cruising. Yes? No?
I think it's a bit of a judgment call on what you're going to do and how long you intend to save them for. We're not that bad, I think being away from the chairs for 30 mins - 1 hour or so is accepted. If you need to get a quick bite or a drink/coffee that's fine. If you're going to go back to your room take a nap, have lunch and come back 3 hours later that's sorta the bigger problem. That being said that's just my perception on the saving chars etiquette. I think the actual rule is 30 minutes

It's a huge no no. If you go to the pool and chairs are saved but nobody is in them, take their stuff away and they're your chairs.
Is carnival still on bacation every other day, we left carnival after 55 with them and switched to msc.

@Ryan and Kala I did meraviglia in Dec 2022 out of port canaveral. We are going on meraviglia 7 days 5-21-23 out of Brooklyn ny going to Port canaveral, Nassau Bahamas and their private island- ocean cay. 9-04 2023 meraviglia again for 6 days to Bermuda stay in Port for 3 days. Then msc seaside for a back to back 7 day and 4 day. Oct 1st 2023 to Oct 12th. New ship for me, then an 11day in January 2024 back on the meraviglia. If you like to drinks and have wifi they offer that in their room packages and it's a great price. By the way I'm, out of NYS so the commute to Brooklyn is about 2 hours from the Hudson valley. I will be trying more of there ships out of Florida like the world America. It's going to be a ship designed for the American market. The meraviglia is an extremely elegant ship. Bathrooms are nice in the rooms there rooms are very nice but there storage is a little lacking. It's all just how you put your stuff away. So far by default my favorite ship is the meraviglia. Average pp per day is around 100 dollars including alcohol, wifi and Port taxes.

We have definitely looked into both the Meraviglia and the Seaside, it's also drivable for us because we live just north of the border in Ottawa. They do have an amazing price point and from what I can tell on some ship tours, the ships look stunning. This is great info thanks so much for sharing! ☀️🍻😎

I don't remember there being a drink of the day for a discounted price like what Royal does. I'll have to ask Kala and see if she remembers. 🍻😎☀️

Serious question...does Royal Caribbean not serve hot food? I find it interesting that you guys have mentioned in multiple videos that the food in Carnival is served hot/warm 😅
Hahaha! We have had several dinners that were more of the mass produced options and they are made ahead and often colder than when you go to other restaurants and things are made to order.

I think the only thing they had was an 80s dance party on the lido deck, but we can't remember if the Limelight lounge had an 80s themed night, we did not see anyone dressed up. If anyone remembers differently please help Tabitha out!

Oh no, please tell me you didn't save the chairs while Kayla slept , then got coffee and then had breakfast. You are entering chair hog territory.
I'm going to have to rewatch this now I'm worried lol 🤣 we're usually pretty good, I'm hoping it was early enough that no one was upset. I'm not sure about Carnival but I think on Royal, the rule is 30 minutes away from your chair and someone can claim it so we were probably within or close to that ☀️🍻😎
its 2024 2023 in the video and still amazes me how people stare at someone with a "camera" in the hand its like shouldnt a camera be normal behavior by now...am I the only one or does anyone else wonder what the weird looks are for when someone is talkin into their camera or cell phone??
lol it definitely takes a bit of getting used to when it comes to the stares lol. When we first get on board we have to remind ourselves that we need to ignore the glares and the looks and put aside the fear and do what we need to do.
I’m sure the microphone on top of the camera draws more attention but we do need it for better sound quality.
We get used to it after a day or so so it’s not so bad!
