Seeing the KD and Geauga Lake footage back to back makes it really apparent which park this ride was designed for.
You’re right! Say it louder for the people in the back to hear you! This ride was not designed for Kings Dominion, it was designed for Geauga Lake. I always thought this coaster looked a lot better situated next to a lake.

Man this brings back memories! I LOVED this coaster! Me and my friends would ride this thing like 20 times per visit back when it was at Geauga Lake.
Absolutely loved this ride when it was Geauga Lake, then known as Six Flags Ohio later to become Cedar Fair owned Geauga Lake. Ugh, now I've gone and depressed myself. Thanks for posting this amazing footage. That final flat spin had some awesome forces. It does look really amazing there at Kings Dominion.
It’s great at King’s Dominion. Though, watching that footage from Geauga Lake, I really liked seeing how that final spin you were talking about was right there at the edge of the lake and was very much designed with the environment in mind. That looked like an awesome experience.

I managed to ride this coaster when it was Batman-themed when Geauga Lake was Six Flags Worlds of Adventure. I have yet to ride it as Dominator, but that's mostly because I haven't been to Kings Dominion since 2007.

I went to geauga lake 2003. I live in Ohio so it's like an hour away from where I'm at. My cousin and I rode this ride like so many times it's the best ride we ever rode in any amusement park ever we loved it that much
Favorite B&M floorless layout, but I like Kraken’s setting and theme better

When I saw the video title, I expected it midway through the layout to alternate with footage from Dominator and footage from Batman Knight Flight.
That would be cool and unlike any other pov of the coaster.
Well except that the Dominator footage is 4K HD and the Batman footage is old-school SD so that would have looked really bad! :P

I remember riding this the first year it was built/opened at Six Flags Ohio, which changed its name to Worlds of Adventure the following year. I miss that park. Cedar Point is my home base, but I loved having options, and I adored Geauga Lake/Six Flags. I really miss that place :-(

Hi I like your videos this way I could make plans to get to rid some. I just wanted to say that this one is the quietest and looks like a smooth ride. But still have fun riding it.
This is the third best B&M Floorless coaster I've ridden right behind Superman: Krypton Coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Kraken at SeaWorld Orlando.

it's good but now way is it better than the Medusa, now Bizarro, at SixFlags Great Adventure. this has the same format but there are 2 crucial elements that came with these B&M floorless coasters that are missing, the dive roll and the fighter jet roll.
I disagree no floorless coaster is complete without the zero G roll
I rode on this when I went to Virginia a few years ago to visit my great-aunts. Killer coaster, but Intimidator305 owns its butt. That thing IS a hell-demon. Be prepared. Your ass WILL leave the seat.

For every Batman ride they need to come up with a different name than just Batman the ride I mean Batman night flight was a better name than just Batman the ride.

Geauga lake. The entrance under the cobra roll wins that. At KD you enter next to the lift. That and Dominator is right next to the parking lot at KD which isn't very scenic.
