- Hey Everyone, I really encourage you to check out the other parts of this series to do with an Elevated Deck Project in the North Shuswap.
Part 1 - Working with my friends at JAKT Dirt works in the North Shuswap restoring a deck before the summer fun begins in the North Shuswap.
Part 2 - Alot of work for what looks like little reward. Preparing the cabin for the new deck, peeling back the layers to find solid wood and not rotten, stink bug invested wood.
Part 3 - Finally rebuilding. Dividing the deck into three mini decks to equal one massive elevated deck.
Part 4 - Puck IT - Starting to rebuild the torn down deck. Completed the stringers aka joists for the middle section, and now working on the Juliet Deck but ran into some measurement issues.
Part 5 - Supporting the deck via posts underneath prior to decking the top and putting the posts on. Met the Shuswap "Norm", the bottle collector
Part 6 - Smoking hot day, FINALLY starting to lay down the deck boards.

Good stuff! I hear dogs on the video makes for good views. Especially Blue-eyed Great Pyrenees... Just an example, not sure where you would find one of those
lol thanks for the tip buddy. Bandit needs a cameo.
Great job Andrew! You're so blessed to live in such a beautiful area with a stream behind you. Fellow Canadian here in Southern Ontario and am in an electric wheelchair healing from hip replacement and waiting to get the other replaced. You're very inspiring to see how you didn't let your accident stop you from being able to do things that most of us "able" people couldn't do even if you gave us all the tools lol! Going to see if I can find any of your videos showing your motorcycle like wheelchair, looks cool even to a mid-life Grama like myself ;)
Hey, thank you so much for reaching out, I’m glad you enjoyed it. Just remember control your mind and make your body follow. Pain is always temporary. Reach out if you need any kicks in the butt.
@@1LEGATATIME lol thanks buddy!
