BSG needs to add the option to lock the crates inside the stash. So the user can auto-sorting the stash without moving and changing the order of the crates

Hey man, appreciate you featuring some cool SPT mods :) I understand that it's dangerous for you to mention SPT too explicitly and it sucks that we're all living under the fear of BSG retaliating. Still sucks SPT modders and devs don't always get recognition for their efforts by the wider SPT community, and that BSG will likely never take inspiration or the free help that many of us would gladly offer. But you did a lot to put these ideas out there for everyone, loved the cheeky reference at the end xD Either way entertaining video and some good unique ideas in there I haven't seen before.
SPT mods can really show the potential of Tarkov and I hope Tarkov does go into a similar direction as some of the better mods. most of what was suggested could be easily added like the the small containers, item stacking, lighting tweaks and it feels like allot of issue I have that don't have to do with some big issue like servers or cheaters is do to allot of stacking small issues that I have apparently built up over time like the weight, recoil ,additions of newer gear/items that outclasses past gear/items that ends up filling out the loot pool with stuff people don't want anymore. any way last thing I wanted to say was cheers to a fellow SPT enjoyer.
CRIMINALLY underrated video. I love all of the ideas and they are all really balanced and make sense. I really hope BSG sees this video. Also the editing is crazy good. I really appreciate all the visuals I can't imagine how much work it must have taken. My idea for prolonging wipes is to dynamically change loot drops spawn rate. The later into the wipe, the more rare and high quality items could be found. BSG has done some events that revolved around this concept in the past. Basically looking through weapon crates early in the wipe would mostly grant you low to medium tier guns and ammo, and only after a few weeks from the start the rare guns could start appearing more frequently. Also I was thinking about a gunsmithing ability which would define what kind of mods you can perform on your weapons. An average private military won't be able to completely replace all parts in an M4 and perform advanced gun tinkering. They usually only know how to do basic maintenance and how to add some simple mods. It would be cool to unlock new gunsmithing abilities while completing gunsmithing quests for Mechanic. That would teach you how to upgrade your weapon in new ways. Possibly it could be dependent on specific faction, where by default USECs know how to mod the M4 platform and BEARs would know more about the AK platform. Although this kind of mechanic could be quite problematic so I guess it's not the best idea. Anyway you have my sub and I'm looking forward to more content.
Kinda nuts to see you be able to edit or mod the games to this. Lighting and fog changes seems like a must after this video. Recoil they are working on, and all the checkmarks and infomation. I've been playing this game for 3000 hours and I didn't really know how much I missed this from other games. You just get so used to it. Kinda not looking forward to going back into the game now, not seeing more than 50 meters with a 6x scope.

guess what, all these changes mentioned in the video can be used in a small modification of the game, which is called SPT and BSG can't even ban you for it
All of the additions you suggested address some of the biggest problems players have with EFT, and not only did you address them, you gave actual and balanced ways of achieving each item on the list. AND you didn’t only do that, but you ALSO gave in game video of what each fix would look like as a proof of point. And they all looked great, and definitely got your point across. What’s sad, is that while the BSG team constantly claims that they are overworked and can’t possibly work any faster, there are people who have already done the work to create these as mods, and I imagine would happily allow them to be integrated into their favorite game upon request. 10/10 video

Ye I wish I could customize my pmc more, it feels like such an easy thing to expand upon on. Also I wish we just had more cheap options instead of the price just shooting to the moon after the first few available options. Its cool clothing is tied to achievements and such, quests, xp, boss kills though, but I'd love more unique combinations available for the poor and less sweaty players.

You've done incredible work with this video my dude, instead of only bitching about in game problems like 80% of community does, you actually contributed with well presented and most importantly doable solutions to fix all these issues that are pulling game away from being true masterpiece. BSG probably knows about all of this, most of what he has talked about is already on the single player tarkov mods, some fixes that are on the live game came from SPT, and even now, the code used for a mod for modular armor plating is now suspected to be used by bsg as a base for the upcoming modular armors

I think one thing they should 1000% introduce is a LOT more outfits w/ customizations to it. I'm not talking about having pink gear, but realistic camos. I would love to see a way to customize your gear ASWELL as perhaps adding first person customizations like watches/braclets/gloves etc.

For instance, noone can unlock prapor 4 until 4 weeks after wipe, or peacekeeper 3 after 3 weeks. allow the chads to do whatever quest they want. if they can get kappa through grinding the questline and finding the parts in raid (for gunsmith or whatever), well alright then, but it takes a lot more effort such that it slows them down and for the rest of us the pace would be the same as it is now.

To me the visuals are by far the most important thing, if i can see the people who kill me and i can see them to shoot back, I can mostly cope with all the other problems in the game. Visibility and people hiding in dark corners we just can't see due to the game is the most frustrating feature for me.
Very well done video! One thing I would like to argue against, though, is the dismemberment-aspect. Tarkov is one of the very few games that nail the un-spectacular way in which death occurs when a human body is being shot. There is no flailing of arms, no head exploding (depends on the caliber, I suppose) no flying through the air when being hit by a DMR or sniper - the target simply collapses and never gets up again. I find this faaaar more scary than any gory or over-the-top death-animation, and watching real-life videos from current wars only made the almost neutral and disconnected way in which Tarkov displays death even more scary - because you know its realistic.
@@0_ctopus i believe its cuz people were stacking high tier armor like that all the time and you became a tank essentially, i started playing the day before reserve came out so i never saw it
@@0_ctopus This was a thing when I started playing Tarkov. They were also some bugs when using both rigs and armours + the rigs were weaker tv-110 was class 3 and tactec class 4 but you could still wear them on top of class 6.

I think it would be neat if they added a lockpick that you could use on mechanical doors and maybe a card hacker/ very rare device that has a sub 30% chance of opening a door that increases as you get a skill higher. The lockpick would be loud and take a bit at first but would gradually get faster and near silent the more you leveled.

I really like the changes you mentioned in this video, i really hope they implement some if not all of the changes you mentioned. one other thing i would love to see is more linear skill progression. the difference between level 50 and 51 for most skills is night and day.
For anybody wondering, for all of the concepts in the video like graphics, dismemberment, recoil, variable optics, unpacking lunchboxes/toolkits, etc. are all spt (single player tarkov mods) so if you want to use them, you can.

23:30 timegated quests wouldn't work. It would gatekeep people that only play on weekends or gatekeep you at late wipe, not just at the start. You could timegate quests only on the first week to solve the last. Great video!
One thing to mention is TAA, it is blurry especially when moving but it's not impossible to ignore. But even worse is the shimmering of edges/shadows which makes wooded/grass areas a nightmare to spot people. I know it is the TAA because with it off or FXAA the problem is not there but obviously the edges are pixelated.
@@BazinGarrey DLAA is pretty good, it is still temporal so still prone to some artifacting, but it is very crisp and has less artifacting than TAA imo. Since tarkov already has DLSS, it could be implemented.

I think the biggest thing the devs need to change (regarding recoil stats on parts) is splitting the recoil reduction into independent vertical and horizontal recoil values. Specifically the muzzle brakes and foregrips should be a widely varying stat type. This change will make it so people who want the highest vertical recoil reduction may not get the best horizontal recoil reduction. And speccing to counter the horizontal recoil would lead to a really "jumpy" gun due to how untouched the vertical recoil is from the unmodded version.
I have to add to the QoL regarding stacking barter items. Rust was faced with very similiar situation where the boxes that you would use in your base were the same size for years and years, while the amount of items the game had to offer constantly increased. Facepunch (dev of rust) increased the size of the containers literally like times 2 the original size. Tarkov currently is dealing with the same issue as the stash space has not increased (i think they did increase a tiny bit at one point) while the amount of barter items is steadily increasing each wipe. Allowing stacking of barter items is not convinient anymore, its necessary.

As of patch 0.14 the recoil rework has been officially implemented, and the gunplay has become much better in my oppinion! Nice vid!

Little trick i used as a workaround : you can switch to iron sights on a scoped AK if you install the AKMP rear sight

Hey, pro tip. Use the glowing iron sights part on the ak to use iron sights with a scope

I think it would be neat if they added a lockpick that you could use on mechanical doors and maybe a card hacker/ very rare device that has a sub 30% chance of opening a door that increases as you get a skill higher. The lockpick would be loud and take a bit at first but would gradually get faster and near silent the more you leveled.
glad you utilized spt for some of these segments, really does show, that spt, is a better tarkov.

I really like the changes you mentioned in this video, i really hope they implement some if not all of the changes you mentioned. one other thing i would love to see is more linear skill progression. the difference between level 50 and 51 for most skills is night and day.

For anybody wondering, for all of the concepts in the video like graphics, dismemberment, recoil, variable optics, unpacking lunchboxes/toolkits, etc. are all spt (single player tarkov mods) so if you want to use them, you can.

23:30 timegated quests wouldn't work. It would gatekeep people that only play on weekends or gatekeep you at late wipe, not just at the start. You could timegate quests only on the first week to solve the last.

Best suggestions I ever heard and such high production value in this video. You deserve many more subscribers. I salute you, Monsieur !
One thing to mention is TAA, it is blurry especially when moving but it's not impossible to ignore. But even worse is the shimmering of edges/shadows which makes wooded/grass areas a nightmare to spot people. I know it is the TAA because with it off or FXAA the problem is not there but obviously the edges are pixelated.
No proper AA option is a problem with modern gaming
@@BazinGarrey DLAA is pretty good, it is still temporal so still prone to some artifacting, but it is very crisp and has less artifacting than TAA imo. Since tarkov already has DLSS, it could be implemented.

I think the biggest thing the devs need to change (regarding recoil stats on parts) is splitting the recoil reduction into independent vertical and horizontal recoil values. Specifically the muzzle brakes and foregrips should be a widely varying stat type. This change will make it so people who want the highest vertical recoil reduction may not get the best horizontal recoil reduction. And speccing to counter the horizontal recoil would lead to a really "jumpy" gun due to how untouched the vertical recoil is from the unmodded version.
I have to add to the QoL regarding stacking barter items. Rust was faced with very similiar situation where the boxes that you would use in your base were the same size for years and years, while the amount of items the game had to offer constantly increased. Facepunch (dev of rust) increased the size of the containers literally like times 2 the original size. Tarkov currently is dealing with the same issue as the stash space has not increased (i think they did increase a tiny bit at one point) while the amount of barter items is steadily increasing each wipe. Allowing stacking of barter items is not convinient anymore, its necessary.
Everything you did in this video was awesome, the editing combined with the clips you got from some other resources (thinking Amands), are awesome. Great job here!

Amand's Graphics mod for SPT really showed me how great Tarkov can look and how easier it would be to counter snipe or avoid others if there was no black filter/fog in the game. Basically what you're showing in the video is that
