Thank you for your great review. I ve got the PinePhone keyboard already. It cannot be used for all distros yet, for instance not for Ubuntu Touch. It is also quiet heavy. Shipping costs are very high to Switzerland (30 USD). I can to with a lighter and smaller keyboard which I use for many years. The battery case for the Samsung phone looks great, I will buy one or several of those, since I need a device which is always ready. Thanks for the great review!
The Samsung battery case seems to fit quiet good to the PinePhone. Was it luck? There are a lot of Samsung battery cases, but your case I could only find at one place for 80 USD. Where did you buy your case?
All battery cases fitting the S20 Ultra should fit the PinePhone okay. I bought the case on Amazon.de.
Can't we print a cover for the phone that fits??? Someone should know how to do it.

Safe how? Honestly, these cases are certified, so they meet some base criteria. Especially the case for the Samsung phone is basically a power bank that wraps around the PinePhone.
I don't know what PINE64 thinks about using 3rd party battery cases, you would have to ask them.
Whats the difference in total battery life time for the internal battery vs the keyboard cover vs the Galaxy cover? Because they all work differently it's hard to directly compare battery size.
I never measured it (well, I did not even put my PinePhone Pro into the keyboard cover yet to be honest), but Wh (watt hours) should still be a reliable indicator here, no matter wether USB or I2C are being used. Since both batteries operate at a similar voltage, the mAh value should do.
