Why does every linux phone OS seem so slow? There's nearly a full 2 second after every swipe or tap, is that just the lag of the camera, or is this really the experience people want? (I highly doubt the latter), but it is really what is keeping people (like me) looking for a good alternative. It has to be snappy, and its design has to keep out of my way of what I want to do with it.
If you want fast (with a somewhat regular stack) the original PinePhone is never going to be the right device for you. But, admittedly: You get used to it. The brain needs a bit to adjust expectations, and then you won't stress out about it not being super fast as much. Why is the PinePhone still interesting? Because it's available, well supported, and supported by a boatload of mobile Linux projects; meaning: It's a great device for (monitoring) development.
I like the phosh welcome screen feature. Thats nice to see.
Thanks for doing the stream
A levinboot install guide video would be appreciated. 😁 Thanks
What best phone for PostmarketOS ?

The Pinephone Pro solves this problem, but it is double the price. Nice and smooth, but expensive... :(
And the camera doesn't work yet on the Pro, lol
How robust is voice and text? I don't use apps, so that's all I need.
I have heard good things, but I am using a Librem 5 currently, so I don't have first hand experience.
@@LINMOBnet do you have any videos about the Librem 5?
@@the-real-zpero Yes.
¿Any news guys on phosh or any other mobile os worth of doing a video?
There would be a lot, but I have zero time to allocate.
Boring is good :) i wish my devices could run postmarketos
