Those are real OEM rock sliders nothing faux about them. The only reason you’d want to replace is if you did serious off Roading & needed the versions with the kick out. You can also install removable steps on these. Still have my army 2012
When I first saw this thing back in 2008, I though to myself: “ugh, what an ugly thing”. 15 years later, I finally realized that I truly appreciate the esthetics and the simplicity of this classic SUV. I would buy one in a heartbeat. Congratulations Mr Untamed!
You’re the poster boy for the official Unicorn Hunters of America. You must spend countless nights perusing the internet for the unique pre-owned vehicles you buy. These 2, the LC and the FJ are amazingly sweet but as a prior FJ owner I am smitten by your latest acquisition. Beautiful, iconic Toyota that brings owners such great satisfaction. I sold my 2014 in 2016 and still miss it. Cant say that about any other vehicle I’ve owned, save my current Mazda MX-5 RF Club. I imagine if I would sell it I’d miss it terribly. Congrats!
Thanks Dan! I appreciate it man, I’ve been very lucky! I agree, very few vehicles feel as special as the FJ Cruiser. Not many vehicles from the 2010s appreciate in value too… 👌
@@UntamedMotors ….the FJs and the Honda S2000s are both appreciating…and I have owned both. Wudda, shudda, cudda kept them but alas I didn’t. So it goes with our “addiction”. It’s always time to move on to the next car adventures.
@UntamedMotors greetings. What was your reason for selling it? I've recently come across a similar FJ with under 60k miles. I'm thinking of purchasing it with the intention of a long term investment. What's your thoughts?
@@realWhy-not-DIY can’t go wrong with an FJ Cruiser. Aim for a trail teams though… I just preferred having the last of the 5th Gen. 4Runner over the FJ. Prices are “high” but not many people are actually buying these. I had a hard time finding a buyer. They’ll remain steady in price or go up.
Liking the direction you are going with your channel with these latest purchases the older Toyota's naturally aspirated I see a tundra The Gen 2.5 somewhere in your future again that will round out your stable of all stars congrats
Congrats! I had to trade my FJ Cruiser in order to pick up the FJ80. The family was just getting too big for the FJ Cruiser but I really enjoyed owning it.
@@UntamedMotors the FJ Cruiser is bulletproof. Loved it. Just a little small for a for a family. The FJ80 just does it all. Plus the solid front and rear axles, timeless design, and proven track record in some of the worst parts of the world. Land Cruiser is king! I should have picked up a Heritage Edition when I had the chance!
Need the antenna. Really nice. I personally think the manual is the real deal. Had a prinsu roof rack installed and decals along with new plastics outside. And LED lights. Black hood anti glare also and really looks great. Transformed my ttue. Thanks for sharing.
That's one of the better aftermarket leather installs i've seen. I thought it was factory. That said, it's a very nice FJ. Like others said, the look has grown on me, but i still I dont like them as much as the 4R though as Toyota SUVs go.
Some reason my 2007 automatic trans f j differential light went on now and I make turn under 10 miles an hour the back wheels skid and abs lights are on any ideas?

Thanks man, I was 100% the same way.
Same here... I tell people it took me 15 years to decide if I liked them... bought one a couple months ago, lol
I like that heritage blue. It's like a mix between cavalry blue and cement grey.
That’s a good way to describe it 👌
That side profile is under appreciated; such a great look. Digging it in that color. Congrats, man! 🙌🏻
Thanks brother. There’s nothing quite like the FJ Cruiser. 👌
I love my 2012 TT, got it in August with 36k miles on it, I couldn't be happier
Great buy! I bought a 2013 TT this last January. Absolutely love it
Something cool- finally untamed is back
Haha thanks man! 🙏🏼

Here we go! Still love the FJ cruiser look!

Sounds exactly like a 4 Runner ❤
Every time I watch these videos, I feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day.
Lol sorry Bill
Very Cool Vehicle Untamed 🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼🔥

Nice! Which do you prefer between the two?

What an amazing truck!

Beautiful find. Enjoy it! ❤
Congrats. FJ is super clean.
love the FJ’s, i have 2 13 trail teams one 6 speed and other auto.
Nice job. The 13 Trail Teams is hard to find. Let alone 2 of them. Great purchases.
great vehicle, i have a 2014 4runner trail premium :), i would love to have an fj cruiser as well tho.
you're a fine connoisseur of toyota suv, your FJ cruiser is in excellent condition and it does look a like a turtle....lol

That’s fn sweet man!
Now your just showing off😎
Living in a wide openly beautiful state, you still film almost all videos in your driveway lol.
Turtle! Yep. My wife thinks mine is b. ugly. It has an ARB bull bar on it, which i like.
I have the same. Manual. It’s epic. Enjoy.
beautiful
Thank you! 🙏🏼
I wish you took trades! I’d love to own this one day.
All of this car buying is in preparation to sell things for the 2024 Tacoma!! I can feel itttttt lol
Haha we will see!
I really hope I can get one 🤞
Maybe the KO3s will be available soon and you can review them also!
I like the ones that aren’t the two tone color. 🔥
Thought you bought one of these a while back?
Those rock sliders are actually bolted to the frame and are actual rock sliders.
Is the van gone?
Nice
Your FJ TTUE is more advanced than your 80, that 80 is bare bones.
Did you sell already?
She gone.
@@UntamedMotors 😂
I truly love what you do, but you can't make your mind up? 🤣
FJ is 🔥🔥🔥
Haha I’m getting there 😆 😥
There are one of those close to me for sale at dealership. They want 60k for it. Bout 50k miles as well. 2014.
Congratulations, Can we get in touch I need your thoughts on something thanks 👍
I'd keep the Toyo's on it and add a new matching spare.
I really don’t see why you bought another FJ. This one is nice but so was the last one.
You can’t help but laugh sometimes when you upload a video with a vechile you have already owned before.
Any suggestions for a productive hobby?
No sub woofer? Sheeee
Now get a cheap Ford Ranger with a manual like me so you can have a truck bed.
Was it hit before??? Because the driver's door doesn't match the rest of the truck's color....
Can I buy it lol?
How does your wife deal your constant buying? Teach me so I can do the same!!
She’s a total trooper with all of it. She doesn’t get super attached either.
That has to be the lowest mileage FJ I’ve seen. You had to pay top dollar for that one.
@Untamed, please tell me how you are gonna fit your 30 kids in the FJ? Is this your latest midlife crisis vehicle purchase? 😛
OMG NOT AGAIN 🙄
