More content in English is planed, it is a bit difficult to talk that long and detailed in Englisch, so please be patient and just ask if you did not understand something.
Thank you so much for making this video! It's fascinating for audio nerds like myself to learn more about club sound installations. I would love to see more videos
Thanks for this video mate. Absolutely fascinating. Especially that little system in the kitchen. Can’t believe those bins are only using max 409w. Crazy. What a design.
Please make more vids mate. The most interesting thing I’ve watched for a while.
I'd luv to hear that system the room is as important as the system something people forget 💪🐸✌️
I know this video is all about the sound system but bro, I need to acknowledge the creative use of those Pallets and Scaffolding Boards, club looks so sick!
Thanks. Unfortunately they have changed that look around lately, not for the better, acoustically and imho aesthetically as well.
Thank you Laurin, lots of good information!! Would love to hear everything
This was an incredibly helpful video, thank you for this and for starting up the Facebook group.
pro trick : watch series at flixzone. Been using it for watching lots of of movies lately.
D.A.S K-8 sounds great and super crisp. They dip 10db from 10-20k with new metal diaphragms which is totally fine to adjust with an EQ, something you pretty much always have to do with a 2" driver anyway. Super sensitive and natural sounding. A bit oldschool but that's just nice as you mentioned.
Great video very informative, in 2 clubs near me I look after one rig of martin audio blackline h3 with ws218x subs and another venue a stack of EAW kf850s with sb2002 double 21 inch subs
Love this video, hope you make more English language content. Your English is perfect,
Awesome video, really enjoyed it !
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I have heard plenty Funktion One installations.
They are lower in upper-mid nastiness than some of the cheaper horn or related systems out there. However, event their best in 2021-2022 does not compare, or come close to high fidelity.
They are still very harsh, fatiguing and having all sorts of issues compared to a great non-horn loaded or related system.
Anyone who has listened to all of the best, even some of the hybrids like L-Acoustics, D&B and others blow away Function One's best. Like most of the stuff out there based on horns, these systems need help if we are to have anything approaching great fidelity that does not leave your ears and soul hurting.
I have been there yesterday and honestly all systems sound amazing. You really did a great job!
I only have one thing to add: I think the EV Evid for the Bar at the main floor were not working :(
more videos! really appreciate these
1:50 Did you ever do measurements that could verify what we found on the Denon DJ Prime player regarding frequency response, distortion harmonics, and impulse amplitude oscillation?
7:40 I wish more sound techs had that philosophy.
Thanks Laurin awesome video, more like this please
What an amazing club
Do you know what type/brand of db meter(s) are used in the club? Thank you so much
More videos please!
Richtig coole lokation! wer hat schon ne Berta in der Küche!!! :-)
Jeez 10x18s for the main dance floor, and here i thought id be able to get away with 4x18s in our small club with 200 to 300 capacity.
Thank you for the video,i learnt alot from you. Have you ever considered using tapped horn subs like Danley soundlab? what do you think about their sound?
I just check this channel occasionally, all English contend will come over my main channel "auftrag sound". On this channel, I have a (German) video tuning a Danley rig.
Cheers
Stay strong!
Pallet is correct :)
Do you have any rumble filters on the subs, like 34Hz?
Good question.
I use two different types of lo cut filters. One is higher to generate more volume, most of the time 40Hz BW24.
The other is just for protecting the speakers against to much excursion. Most of the time 30Hz BW24 or sometimes 20Hz BW12.
On the Void floor it is 25Hz BW24.
On the main floor with the Dynacord Alpha it is 38Hz BW24.
And on the Floor with the Berthas it is at the moment 30Hz BW24, but it was 20Hz BW12.
Actually the 20Hz was better to fight power compression, but with all that low bass music the play now, I had to protect the drivers.
Thanks!
Where did you crossover on the second floor? ("Way below 100Hz")
The floor with the Turbosound, or the big floor with the four-point system.
@@clubsoundsystems5962 On the Turbosound you did mention the Crossover frequency.. This was missing for the four-point system on the big floor. Nice video btw - really enjoyed the insides!
75Hz
Crown ma. No other words needed. Only buy a 5000 😂
normalement faut évité de de suspendre des enceintes au dessus du public
big mur
good wave
Biele...? Hä? *lol*
I'm in Barcelona and I've never heard so many sound systems and the sound proofing even worse really missing some quality sound🫶
