  • STOP ✋The tunnelled candle hack you've been waiting for is here!
After trying and testing, this is the best hack I have found for fixing my tunnelled candles:
    1. Wrap tinfoil around your vessel, allow it to over the top of your candle, but ensure to leave a hole in the middle so your wick is able to get oxygen
    2. Light wick and leave for 2-3 hours, or until you can no longer see wax built up on the edges of your candle
    3. Remove the tinfoil and enjoy 🥰

This happens from blowing it out before it completely melts on the whole surface.

Also lighting it again before the whole candle surface has become solid. If your candle is homemade then your wick is the wrong size for this size of jar.

Yes there are so many reasons for tunnelling and honestly it's so frustrating 😅

Tunneling also happens when you don’t cut your wick before burning it.

You're suppose to cut it 😮?

If you check out our TikTok page @tryeverly we have a few videos about candle tunneling and how to prevent it before it starts to tunnel :)

What is done when the wax melts and drowns the wick that will be short from its burning that created the tunneling?

Idk if this was a good idea but it worked. I just cut the extra wax off, I got tired of it burning out.

You just need to wait till the wax on the edges will melt entirely.

How long u should wait until the candle set?

    • @try_everly
      @try_everly  Год назад +2

4 hours minimum but for the best burn, we recommend 24 hours ❤️‍🔥

Do I have to burn it with the tin foil all the time?

    Mine won't light 🕯️

Oh no, that's not good! Was this before or after using the tinfoil method? Sometimes, you have to light the candle before applying the tinfoil and ensure that there is a large enough hole in the center for the flame to get enough oxygen in order for it to remain lit - we hope this helps 💜

    It didn’t work 🫤

Oh no, we're sorry to hear this! For me, it took a couple of hours of letting it burn with the tinfoil on for it to begin to un-tunnel 😅You could also try trimming the wick to 1/4" - 1/8" before every burn to ensure that the wick isn't getting too long and only melts the center of the candle - hope this helps 💜
