Thanks for your comment. I want to find a video with Nate talking about the inspiration behind it. Just saw then 2 weeks ago. Less than 1k in attendance. One of the best shows I’ve seen. Just love this band!
I'm with you on this one. They are fantastic. It could be that their style was different on prior albums. I think the last two are by far their best. I really love their unique style. They don't try to be something they are not.
I worked at a local hotel where the band & crew stayed, & you couldn't of met more decent, polite set of guys. Served them until 4am, when they all went to rooms & crashed after a gig in Des Moines. Really a great group of guys! Hope they go far, bcuz they are real thing!
Jefferson City is the 4th largest city in the state. Definitely has a small town feel to it. I come from a town about an hour east of there that has BOOMED to 15,000 people. I consider them Small Town Guys by how they were raised. I know they were raised right! I remember Nathan doing his homework at table 14 while waiting for his dad to get off of work. I REALLY DO know what I said and meant.
Highly Suspect is Gay Hence why their name is Highly suspect! Their music is trash needs to get off rock radio, because it's NOT Rock.. It's like the todays mumble rap in rock version
this song was shot in the now defunct st louis Lemp Brewery (across from the Lemp Mansion (haunted)...in the basement and the later shots in a big windowed room above the basement. the women's prison in jefferson city your thinking of was "The Offering" which was shot in 2007. i shot both of the these videos. ruclips.net/video/d31Uxr5CtT8/видео.html
i continue to come back to this song every once and awhile. this song was my favorite for atleast 2 years as a teenager and i always hated they never gained the recognition they truly deserved. this song in particular has helped me in some difficult situations.
"The dragonfly, in almost every part of the world symbolizes change and change in the perspective of self realization; and the kind of change that has its source in mental and emotional maturity and the understanding of the deeper meaning of life. The traditional association of Dragonflies with water also gives rise to this meaning to this amazing insect. The Dragonfly’s scurrying flight across water represents an act of going beyond what’s on the surface and looking into the deeper implications and aspects of life." This possibly has something to do with the lyrics. Also, the dragonfly has amazing speed and agility.
I hear "fly dragon fly!!!" Lol ....let the beast out. But that's the beauty of art, it can be interpreted in any way and not be wrong. Great song regardless.
My uncle who would listen to this but unfortunately he passed away and this gives me so. Much memories and every single time I would see a dragonfly.i would smile and cry 🥹 He died 3 years ago🥹
Got to see Shaman’s Harvest in Kuttawa, Kentucky along with All That Remains, 10 Years, and a few other smaller bands. MAN, they were AMAZING! These bands deserve more popularity. Their music is just amazing.
This band has gone through many sounds. Started off sounding like the band LIVE and then went through a Third Eye Blind sounding phase. Then a southern swamp rock kind of thing. Heavy and light alternative. Can't wait to see where they go next.
I just saw them in concert last Friday with Pop Evil and they did an autograph session/meet and greet afterward! It totally rocked!!! Nathan is so much fun to be around! I got quite a few hugs from him!
This is now one of my favorite bands. I saw them near St.Louis not too long ago. I bought one of their albums and shook hands with them. Great concert.
Looks like I'm really late for the party but I just heard this song on the radio 11/10/22 thinking it was new. I was instantly pulled in so I had to look it up. This rocks my face off! I definitely need to find more of their music.
I found this song one night about five years ago. I remember it, and five years later it comes back into my newsfeed as a recommended song. I click on it and am blown away. Why does it sound better a second time?
The absolute last time I heard this song, was on Octane. It was in 2009, KISW had zero love for this song! Man, I miss being 20 years old all over again. Still an amazing tune!!!👍🎵🎶🔊
Sooo happy you guys are BACK!!! Had tears of joy in my eyes when I saw this! Aron, I know my brother Clint is smiling down on you guys right now! Well done, gentlemen!🤘
if you haven't seen these guys live, you really need to. my absolute favorite band to see live. Nathan can sing better than anyone i've ever seen and their energy is just phenomenal. and i've been to a loooooot of concerts.

These guys were snowed out of a show where I live and ended up in a hotel behind the tgifridays I worked at. When my bartender realized who they were the played for us and the 5 other customers in the restaurant. Still one of the coolest things I experienced at that job. They're all really cool down to earth people.
I love them and have had the pleasure to see them perform twice in Clarksville TN bought their CD that night got their autographs on my CD cover and took pictures and chatted awhile! They are so nice and friendly and they most definitely know how to entertain a crowd! I LOVE their music!,
This song will always bring back memories and lately so many things are happening pointing me to the same memory. This song coming up on my feed out of nowhere is just the latest example of it. Either way a great song
I always thought My dragonfly. Till now. Thanks for breaking down the song for the rest of us. It helps to understand maybe where the artist ment the song to go.
I saw these guys last Sun at House of Blues in Houston. Their performance was excellent. I've bought and played their latest 2 cds everyday since then. Im hooked on this group! I cant wait to see them again. Not to mention I met these gents and took pictures with them. Thats a band I like to support. Rock on gents!
My Best Friend died unexpectedly quite recently, and at a young age. Her favorite animal was the Dragonflies. She had a tattoo of one on the back of her right shoulder. Since she passed away I've seen Dragonflies everywhere, and this song only touches my heart. Not only is it a nice sounding, and deep song in itself. It's more meaningful to my soul because it puts me back with her in ways. Wonderful job with the song. Only wish the real artists of the song could read this. -RnR
this song is amazing and Shamans Harvest have proven to be bad ass rockers who have and will stand the test of time there songs are timeless. we love you ShamansHarvest.
I love this song. The first time I heard it, I got out of bed, called my best friend, woke her ass up & told her to turn the radio on. Absolute shame they aren't HUGE.
The Dragonfly represents the end of illusion. They are an animal of metamorphosis and change. This has been my favorite song for years
It also represents angels 😇.
Thanks for your comment. I want to find a video with Nate talking about the inspiration behind it. Just saw then 2 weeks ago. Less than 1k in attendance. One of the best shows I’ve seen. Just love this band!

Mine also it's the best
Actually it speaks specifically of Nibiru also anciently called the dragon.
I have never heard of this band before and I randomly stumbled upon them. God damn these guys should be more well known what the fuck.
Hockeyforlife18 it's better off they're not. Mainstream would just ruin them like they fuckin ruin everything else
I'm with you on this one. They are fantastic. It could be that their style was different on prior albums. I think the last two are by far their best. I really love their unique style. They don't try to be something they are not.

Same reaction here, but i've just discovered them in 2021 !

Highly Suspect is Gay Hence why their name is Highly suspect! Their music is trash needs to get off rock radio, because it's NOT Rock.. It's like the todays mumble rap in rock version

*FUN FACT* For anyone that doesn't know this song was filmed inside Missouri State penitentiary In Jefferson City Missouri.
this song was shot in the now defunct st louis Lemp Brewery (across from the Lemp Mansion (haunted)...in the basement and the later shots in a big windowed room above the basement. the women's prison in jefferson city your thinking of was "The Offering" which was shot in 2007. i shot both of the these videos. ruclips.net/video/d31Uxr5CtT8/видео.html

"I see you in my mind's eye...My Dragonfly"....

The traditional association of Dragonflies with water also gives rise to this meaning to this amazing insect. The Dragonfly’s scurrying flight across water represents an act of going beyond what’s on the surface and looking into the deeper implications and aspects of life."
This possibly has something to do with the lyrics. Also, the dragonfly has amazing speed and agility.

I'm just a couple hours south from Jefferson City. About 45 minutes from Springfield.
music is a way of the soul to express its emotions in a melodic way with feeling and pleasure. it helps with sadness and anger.

This song will always bring back memories and lately so many things are happening pointing me to the same memory. This song coming up on my feed out of nowhere is just the latest example of it. Either way a great song

It's a finding new music night and so glad came across these guys.
Am I the only one that pictures this song as "fly, Dragon, fly"....... not "fly, dragonfly".....? the reptile. Not the bug.
You mean they can control the bugs too!!!!????. *yawns* yeah, I already knew that, though they picked a more than fitting bug to use.
That is how i sung it for SUCH a long time.
I always thought My dragonfly. Till now. Thanks for breaking down the song for the rest of us. It helps to understand maybe where the artist ment the song to go.
What he means is to soar, sky high, the dragonfly is a metaphor in that case
I saw these guys last Sun at House of Blues in Houston. Their performance was excellent. I've bought and played their latest 2 cds everyday since then. Im hooked on this group! I cant wait to see them again.
Not to mention I met these gents and took pictures with them. Thats a band I like to support. Rock on gents!

The vocalist looks hella lot like Jack Black or is it just me?
thats just you..
Thought so hahaha
TheJoares Ltxe. I thought he looked like Christian Kane.
Hes too skinny, and his hairs too thin. But yeah I could see a little bit of a likeness at the begining of the video
TheJoares Ltxe. eh
I love this song. The first time I heard it, I got out of bed, called my best friend, woke her ass up & told her to turn the radio on. Absolute shame they aren't HUGE.
