    25 minutes is a better pressure time. Still very tender but, just shy of falling apart. Then 6-9 minutes under a low broiler to set and brown the BBQ sauce.

    Love how you put the rub on even the edges! Hate when I see most people just leave some spaces empty. Like who wants a bite of that with absolutely no seasoning on it? 😂🤣🤷🏾‍♀️ They look good. 8m going to try this when my IP comes this Friday.

    notice you didn't use a trivet. some people say use them and keep the ribs above the liquid and others say don't use a trivet then submerge the ribs halfway under water/liquid. all i want to do is to cook ribs using an instant pot but all these suggestions i dunno where the hell to start 🤣

      Majoras I did some baby back ribs yesterday, and used the trivet. I think that it ended up making my ribs too close to the top of the the pot. If I see that happening again next time I'm going to take the trivet out. It actually doesn't hurt anything for the ribs to have contact with the liquid.

    Your recipe looks very good. But I have to voice my opinion. You and a lot of others season the meat, put it in the pot and then pour in the liquid OVER the meat. It washes off the seasoning you put on the meat. Put the liquid in the pot first.

    30 minutes is too long. 23-25 minutes. I add parsley flakes, garlic powder and liquid smoke and use apple cider for liquid, then broil for 10 minutes. I'm going to try your recipe but not 30 minutes.

    What did you serve w/ the ribs? I focus so much on the meat that I don't really think about the sides until the ribs are in the instant pot & then its a little late... LOL

      They are beef but all ribs cook the same in the instant pot so this recipe will still work for you no matter what ribs you have.

    • @asaintinwaiting
      @asaintinwaiting 3 года назад

      Beef doesn't need sugar... black pepper, kosher salt, garlic powder and onion powder, with some paprika (and perhaps other spices, per personal preference) is all that is needed in terms of dry rub. Use a trivet to keep the ribs off the liquid (add liquid BEFORE adding ribs), and maybe go 20-25 minutes, allowing 15 minutes of natural release. Insofar as additions to barbecue sauce are concerned, I add an ingredient that is kind of my sauce super-power... which I keep to myself!

  • @Da808Legend

    thats alot of sugar, maybe u should of used coke zero🤣

  • @al8603cl
    @al8603cl 5 лет назад +2

    30 minutes is too long. 25 minutes and a quick release gets you soft tender beef ribs that still have a bite to them. Not a fan of falling off the bone anything unless it is intended to become pulled and shredded for sandwiches. Ribs should be tender yet firm enough that you can bite into them and leave a plainly obvious bite of the rib meat.
