I'd just like to update, I recieved mine about a month ago and it was defective; roms wouldnt show up half the time, tried everything. Then I tried to setup a return, they said they were going to, hasn't responded in 2 weeks. Not your fault, just know if you're one of the unlucky ones idk how its gonna turn out.
Hey Natalie If I wanted multiple saves in pokemon or lsdj would I have to load multiple copies of the roms into the sd and then have a single save state for each?
No you can use the in game save as a normal would but before powering down, long hold the carts button and itll save that file to sd card. Next boot up, continje om as you would with a standard in game continue
@@rainbowrepair5692 ohh great that's awesome I was gonna say that would put me off buying if I had to do save states all the time looks like a great purchase and way cheaper than the everdrive X7
Because there is no real time clock, the clock is not maintaining any time when the power is off so you would just pick up from where your save state was saved last and continue with that time
There is a way to reset the real time clock using a special code generated by the game, just search "pokemon silver Time Changer" and it will give you a calculator to reset your clock. Did this to ensure I got an Umbreon guaranteed.
very informative & thorough, hopefully they'll restock sooner than later so I can get my hands on one

4 years late, but thanks! I forgot to press start after entering folder, hadn't used El Cheapo for years.
I finally got mine and I haven't even tried using it. Thanks for the info!

So the only way to save the game is using save states as theres no battery?
