Hey it's the 77 year old grandma, Ann Wilson the lead singer just turned 70 years old this year and still can rock it out just like she did back in the day. One of he greatest female rock singers of all time. Still keeping you in prayer, Pray for God's blessing in your life, have a great day.
I grew up listening to Heart, even as a Black man a I find it hard to believe that there are people who never heard of Heart. Nancy is my favorite, her guitar playing is great. Check out Blues guitarist Son Seals, Cool Blood, and Going Back Home.
My rock idols! I remember my dad driving me to kindergarten in his 70s muscle car. Top down, powder blue white leather interior and me standing in the back seat and this just blasting!
Heart, without a shadow of doubt, the BEST FEMALE ROCK GROUP EVER!!! They paved the way for women in Rock. Anne and Nancy Wilson are sisters. Anne lead singer and Nancy guitar/background vocals. There were a very few songs that Nancy sang lead. Anne’s voice sounds the same today as it did back in the day. They still tour, so you could see them at some point when this world of ours gets out of this craziness. I’ve seen them, and they give an UNBELIEVABLE concert!!
Ann Wilson has said many times that her inspiration on stage was Robert Plant because of his confidence. She does a damn fine job emulating his attitude.
Anns Vocals and Nancys guitar showed that grls could rock out just as hard...Amazing group, amazing women...Seeing them live back in the day was magic. Awesome...Loved it, Thank you Peace
The sisters had a recent falling out but I believe they reconciled and were going to tour again before the pandemic. I saw them live about ten years ago and Ann can still sing as good as she could in the 70's. Her sister Nancy also can sing as well.
There's no "hip-hop" comparison. This is straight up rock. You know, real music. Not over produced, under talented, current studio enhanced garbage. legendary after more than 40 years. Not gone and done in 18 weeks.

I am a baby Boomer and when listening to radio, it was apparent then, that women, female led bands, etc. just did not get played as much and misogyny existed all thru the industry and, frankly, society, which was such a shame. One example is when the Bangles had a number one hit, "walk like an Egyptian" it didn't get the airplay it should have. I mean it was a great song, fun and sounded great when cruising in your car.

Others have mentioned it, but yes you do have to watch their tribute to Led Zeppelin, Kennedy Centre Honors, 2012. It’s the best cover of Stairway to Heaven you will ever hear. If you haven’t heard the original, react to it first then to Heart’s version. Some have actually said it’s just as good as the original. But you can tell from their reaction, that the surviving members of Led Zeppelin loved it, especially since their deceased drummer, John Bonham’s son, Jason, plays drums with Heart in this tribute.

There are a ton of other great songs they produced and I’m sure other commenters will list them for you. Love your channel, man.
Check out HEART performing “Stairway To Heaven” at the Kennedy Honors Perfoming Arts Center. The evening was to honor Led Zeppelin and HEART performed Stairway To Heaven in front of President Obama and thousands of dignitaries and special guests. The late John Bonham (Zeppelin’s drummer) was honoured by his son filling in for him playing the drums on the song. Robert Plant actually cried during the performance. It was utterly amazing. The Wilson sisters of HEART are pure, raw talent. And probably the ONLY ones who could do Stairway to Heaven Justice. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
A really amazing Heart song which starts out slow and dreamy and then just kicks ass is also among Ann and Nancy's favorite. It's called "Mistral Wind" and I think you'll be newly amazed.
