This is positively brilliant. Great editing! This man and his commercials were very much a part of my growing up in the 80s. It was positively one of my favorites! "Let's pick up phone" "Let's give a call"
Among Dave Campo's many clients was Latham Motors in Twin Falls, Idaho. He liked them so much he actually moved to Twin Falls and started doing live spots for them, which he did well into the 1990s. Latham Motors went under about a year ago, but as far as I know Campo is still alive and living in Twin Falls.
With Billy Mays death, I started to look to see of Dave Campo was still alive, I loved his commercials, the most memorable was him dressed up like Dracula doing Viking Chevy's pitch, he also did smokeaway or something like that. They did a special on some station here where they featured Campo and his gearing up was spelling Mississippi... LOL I'd rather see him back selling on TV than Sullivan or Mays
I've found the best way to detect if the used car salesman you're dealing with is anything like this guy is to get into any car on the lot and ask him, "will I pick up a lot of chicks in this car?" Depending on his response will tell me if I should do business with him.
@warddavenny is there any way I can contact you? I work in news and doing a story on a woman running a car dealership this video can help me out. I can show you my credentials and give you credit as well. please shoot me a message.

I thought this guy was just local to the twin cities. Glad to see we Minnesotans weren't spared of his sales pitch magic.
I'm in the process of looking for another vehicle and this clip always gives me big laughs.
Part of my childhood in Twin Falls Idaho. Latham Motors. We'll see you here! Today!
My second favorite TV car salesman, right after Cal Worthington (his dog, Spot was third)
@kelstroh Thanks, I wish he'd be back on TV here in the Twin Cities even if he'd an old man, I loved all his commercials
Is this where Ed Bassmaster got his inspiration?
PSH........ Just look at it, PSH..................
