Anybody with second gen Dodge Dakota v6s that stupid Magnum motor is so loud and nasty but if you put a Flowmaster 40 on it and that's it you will change that sound of that entire truck and it will sound good I'm talking really really good for just the price of that muffler

Dodge did something weird with the 3.6l pentastar cause the 3.5l sounds so much awesomer with an aftermarket exhaust. Just out of curiousity, what are your thoughts on putting an mbrp exhaust with 3" piping on a pre-eagle hemi with resonator delete? Im thinking on doing this to my '04 durango as i loved the note it made on my former '10 dakota (3.7l v6). Nice low rumble at idle and an enjoyable amount of rasp going through the rpms. Not sure how the 3.5L sounds better than the 3.6L. After watching dozens of exhaust videos nothing and I repeat nothing will make it sound even remotely close to a v8. Love my 3.6L for the fuel economy and performance for what it is but the exhaust tone....sigh. With any of these F/M’s it sounds like the Wraith.

Bunnylow it does free up some hp but to get the full effect you’ll also want things like headers and a tune
