It was cool seeing the arcades. Aside from a few Tekken 3 arcade cabinets strewn about in random places in Detroit, the only arcade I remember as a kid was the Michigan Fun Center in Dearborn, which I didn't get to visit much. Looking forward to Tekken 8 as well. The game should be fun, if the demo is any indication. I'm hoping the online is good as well. I'm thinking the Arcade Quest will be pretty good for learning the game, which I'll need--I'm more familiar with Soulcalibur and Dead or Alive than Tekken.
Hey Alex, PhiDX actually went over the KBD on that regular backdashing has been speed up. Due to that, if doing KBD to quickly, your actually slower. I think I remember that correctly, hit him up and ask. I forgot what video it was.
We need a VF6… at least VF5 esports exists. I remember when I was living in Osaka that I was playing VF5 (Ver B) in 2007… and everyone was playing TEKKEN 6 as it was just released. My ex-fiancé (from Japan) would actually watch me play others (I’d win three matches and then lose lol) after work and then we’d go over to DenDen Town and see what was going on there. Then I’d haul rice and dinner back to our apartment from the supermarket Daiei. 😂 PS: I lived in Sakuranomiya in Osaka and used to work in Umeda (when the JR hub was under construction).
The golden fanta part made me laugh cause I just ordered a few parts to put together their "hybrid" build. Still chasing my perfect stick to use for both 2D and 3D fighters.
ei that Devil Gundam shirt is fire my guy....but that osaka trip looking up all that fight stick tech, i may be convinced to get a golden lever. the reason why you're probably off with the korean back dash is they implemented an easy continuous back dash for other folks that can't do a korean back dash. for me i'll ignore the heat but use it when the time is right. overall the game feels different as opposed to T7 but in a good way since execution is more forgiving to this version than T7, its much easier to do wavedashes and EWGF on both sides now
I love Tekken but. I don’t own a PS5 or a powerful enough PC. I have no reason to follow any Tekken news It’s come out that’s great and maybe I watch tournaments but right now it make more sense for me to follow what I can play.
