Well burger me, i must be better at this game than I thought because I actually figured out this one for myself. Im playing on the steam version and I am assuming that you are usually talking about the PS version (at least most GBO2 channels are), but yeah if you think old Fritz boyos with the mg are rare on the console side (assuming that my assumption is correct) I have only ever encountered one other person utilising the suit in this way. Oh and finally the helmet is baller, I don't think its too on the nose. Some of those Neo Zeon designs though? Wewlad! Great videos btw, very happy to have stumbled across your channel and even happier to sub. All the best dude!
Don't forget about the Zaku II High Mobility Ground Type! It's very similar to the Fritz, but it trades double roll for priority 3 & power accelerator. Very solid mid/close range general. (it also has a really long name)
It's still really funny to me how Zaku FZ with a funny hat is enough to be considered an upgrade of 50 points, while stuff like Nu and Unicorn are on exactly the same cost
Your in-depth guides have really helped me understand the mobilesuits better and now I can't get enough. Thanks for the hard work you put in and looking forward to many more videos from you!
Just showed this to some guys in the gbo2 server, they really didnt like how you turned this close ranged focused suit into a midrange suit lmao I for one am enjoying this kind of playstyle
Not sure why. I pretty much never see anyone do all that well with this suit when using the bazooka. I can't even remember a time in 3-4 years when someone placed in the top 4 of a match unless they used the machine gun.
The Zaku II Kai and FZ are by far my favorite low cost suits to take out on the battle field, and either the High Mobility Gelgoog/Zaku II respectively at the slightly higher costs.
This video enlighten me. I always use bazooka with this MS. when it works it works well, especially with 40 melee strength it can be devastating. But just like you said, the cool down time is a bit too long for a missed shot. I will try out the machine gun from now on and see how it works for me.
It's a slippery thing, for sure, a bonus appeal to the thing, too, is the counter animation. It's not the ever-useful-but-overused kick, but it's very flashy and really serves as a smack over the other player's head if you counter them. Though, when I'm not using it or the Half-Cannon MB at 300 ground, I like to use the Zaku Desert Type for a general. It's kinda frail and it only has one hit of melee, but it has a lot of ranged weapons and so it's good at just keeping a barrage up on someone to provide pressure on them. Though, I will say that having a lot of experience with it, the Hi-Mo Zaku Late Model is simply too squishy to skirmish with the machine gun. Granted, that said I like using the thing as a high-visibility shock-tactics sort of deal. I actually deviate from my usual coloration that I put on MS when I'm using the Late Model in order to make it much brighter and louder for the sake of making it much more noticeable. Come in from a side or rear angle compared to your team, tag as many people as you can with the Simplified launcher, and then haul your sorry rear right past/through them as if to mock them as they're reflex-rolling away (or go far enough as to show up in line-of-sight, then use your Forced Injectors to move back where you came from to further draw their attention away). Or, of course, if they're not responding, simply knock them over and throw a grenade on them as they're on the ground. Seriously, the Late Model's grenades hurt. When you focus on your reload and thrust, you can make for a grand distraction. You'll also make Psycommu Zakus (the 400 raid) hate you if you can hit them with all the rockets in space.
Desert Type is pretty good. I tried it a few times in the beginning back when I first started. It's also a good early suit to practice the weapon shortcuts with.
You know what's really got me annoyed about High Mobility Zaku (Late Model) is the fact that it didn't get the MMP-80 + Grenade Launcher like its earlier model despite the fact both can hold the same thing. =,= I really want to get the FZ as collection tbh.
@@Mobilesuitk9 Honestly the Quel could really do with a little something extra, it just can't stand out much against it's contemporaries. I could cite a bunch of examples but many 400 raids just have better options even if they don't fully outclass it (like say, I wouldn't say they're all just Better, but the Act Zaku Commander and I think Gyan can one-cycle Supports when done right. Heck, Red Rider can either onrshot or infinite combo (if they're good at weapon juggling)). Meanwhile the Quel.. gets to cosplay as a GM Custom I guess. It's not a throw pick, sure, but ouch all the same. 400 has a ton of solid MS since that's just before Supports start falling off and Raids/Gens start getting to be BS (looking at you annoying Zudah F and Support But Better GM Sniper II (WD)) Honestly, just let it equip the Hazel BR. That change alone would carve a niche for it with the flexibility that it allows
It's a bit of both, I guess. Pretty much underwhelming, but once in a while someone does have a good match with it. So, I figure its one of those suits where if someone likes it and sticks with it long enough they'll develop some skill with it eventually.

"I don't know about using the nazi helmet zaku" says fan surrounded by zeon merchandise
The only buff I would give it is a regular zaku head lol

I love the low cost Zakus. Lookin forward to season 2.
You know who else is at 200 points, gets a machine gun and a grenade launcher? Thats right its Zaku Minelayer - the hidden hero of the roster
Wish it was available for ground combat.
It's still really funny to me how Zaku FZ with a funny hat is enough to be considered an upgrade of 50 points, while stuff like Nu and Unicorn are on exactly the same cost
I think the devs just didn't want to make 800 and 900 cost matches. Which, in reality, should probably be a thing with the newer 700s.
@@Mobilesuitk9This reminded of War Thunder refusing to add tier 11 for multiple years.
The Zaku II Fritz Helmet is a hidden gem in GBO2

It's interesting how they decide what weapons a suit gets. The GM Quel for example can also use a bazooka, but not in GBO2.
I guess it's just one of those balancing decision but still, it's just weird that some MS that could have certain weapon lore wise can't use it.

My takeaway from this is to use more machine guns
Hey! Would like to know what you think about the gouf flight test type, is it underwhelming or do I just need to get good?

What do you think about the Zaku II F2 Type?
It's okay, but nothing to make it stand out besides its gun with explosive rounds (I forget the guns name right now).
I just started playing a few days ago and I’ve been enjoying the game but is it how is the player base seems like it takes a while to find games
That does tend to happen from time to time. I think it depends on what time of the day you log on.
Cool either way respect the content already subscribed let me know if you have any build guides or videos for this game
@@Shaddy0089 I'll be making some tutorial videos soon.
Everyone underestimates Machine Guns.
Did you forget the Eye-Zack and the Act Zaku? They got good dakka machine guns too!
