Never underestimate machinegun builds. AD-ASL parts + Quick Loader + Database Link + MG is incredibly underrated.
Ballistic Weapons are the most satisfying weapons to use.
I've played for 100hrs+ and I've recently discovered this video. I kinda wished I've watched this before I started playing. My playstyle before was very aggressive. I'm a little more aware now to my allies position and doesn't go all commando (most of the time) behind enemy lines. I don't thirst kill (that much) anymore. It made me think more of my role in my team.
guide has completely changed my view on mg and hell, if you remember my comment from your shrapnel bazooka vid, even on that. Your vids have been a great help and the advice has made the game more enjoyable overall
One of the reasons i love the Barzam Custom is that it plays like that machine gin set up you showed, because the recharge rate on every shot of the beam rifle is just so damn fast. And its vulcan pod is beastly.
I will say this as someone who is A- on pc and B+. I highly appreciate your attention to detail. I'm attempting to bring friends in so these are important things to know. You have a like and a follow (sub).
*me having 150 hours of play time. And a test the day after tomorrow*
"This video will proves useful to me"
my MS of choice used to be the act zak commander type, but lately I'm noticing people have picked up that it's a raid type that specializes in melee and more and more people are keeping their distance. So I think it's time I start going back to basics and using other mobile suits....thinking I'm better off sticking more to a general type than anything like raids or supports.
If i remember correctly, the Act Zaku was one of the first (maybe the first) with that overboost skill. it's pretty useful in the lower costs. At least it used to be anyway. I'm surprised it never really had a moment of being a popular raid back in the day.
@@Mobilesuitk9 People complain about the melee is not good, it also can't take on a large amount of modifications at higher levels but I think they're also ignorant that you can get melee and main weapon upgrades for the suit that will do major damage to enemy suits.
Most times I'm only able to use my lvl 3 act zak but I be sure to equip it with lvl 3 gat gun and lvl 3 heat hawks, quicker reload, leg upgrade, melee assist and booster upgrades. That makes me a fairly good competitor in my ranking.
Best thing I can do is follow my team around and hope to trap a target in tight confined spaces. I'll unload all my gat ammo for the stun, then I'll tear him up with the hawks, back away, use a grenade, rinse and repeat. If I'm on top of it, and my team is close by I'll usually rip an enemy apart in a few seconds then move on.
Even though it's a raid suit it works well as a support as well. Just stick close to my team and if they're in trouble I'll take on the enemy myself to provide them an escape.
thanks for this guide
Hope it helps.
Newbie tips: play gouf. Why? Because yes
i think a lot of the advice in this video can be helpful but... i have a lot of thoughts lets put it that way. i think trying to teach a better understanding of pvp interactions make a much better player than trying to teach holding down your machine guns and vulcans till you die
Got my ass kicked a few years ago by a dude using GM sniper 2, now I'm a main support and the GM sniper 2 is my baby
I'm an ace using that suit
what Custom parts did you use ?
Hello. I've been looking for a channel that could help with guides for gbo2 and I arrived at this channel.
I have a couple of questions. Some could be common knowledge, but I prefer to ask and look like a fool than stay ignorant.
At 6:34, you were going backwards. Without doing a dodge roll, you consumed all of your thrust and had a little bit on invincibility. Unless it is lag or something.
How did you do that?
Also, sometimes, when an opponent tackles me, the immediately, use their melee weapon. But when I do it, they always attack me first.
It might sound stupid, but, sometimes, even when I tackle, I get to melee first.
In that regard, let us suppose that I have my melee weapon equiped and ready, I tackle and, sometimes, I get to attack after the animation ends and sometimes, I don't. And thar happens with the same ms.
What am I doing wrong? Why is it that, almost every single time,my enemies gets to attack me first?
Sorry if these are a lot of question, but I don't know if I am very stupid or what.
Greetings.
How did you do that?
Just because you can dodge roll, doesn't mean you should always use it. Use it wisely, otherwise you'll find yourself in a lot more sticky situations you can't get out of.
As for the melees. Some mobile suits have faster melee swings in addition to having melee priority over other mobile suits. A raid will typically have melee priority over other suits, meaning its melee swing will always win, unless a general also has the same level of melee priority.
@@Mobilesuitk9 Thanks. Just one thing. You did not understand what I asked about the dodge roll. Check the time stamp I mentioned, look at your actions and your thrust meter.
@@fenrir_Lokison9 I did a dodge roll at the very end. It's just the animation wasn't a dodge roll but a jump backwards.
@@Mobilesuitk9 Ok, got it. Thanks.
