I go to Estes Park every fall, during the rut. The park turns a beautiful yellow/ orange with the leaves. In the distance you can hear the bugle of bull elks. Sometimes you get to watch them fight each other as well. Kurt, I'm on the road more than I'm home. Watching your videos gives me the bit of home I'm missing. Though I don't have a family to go back to. Thank you for sharing yours with all of us.

I'm a 67 year retired machinist. I have always enjoyed your vids. Love your F-350. I have a 2006 F-250 with 350,000 + miles on it and it's still going. Estes Park has always been very busy in the afternoons, can't hardly walk down a sidewalk but about 5 pm everybody just disappears and then it's a great place to be. We usually start in Estes Park and then head on south and west, Gunison, Dunrago, Lake City and Dillon. Last few times left the pickup and trailer in Estes and headed off on the Wing

Think Estes Park was founded by Stanley Brothers (like Stanley Steamer). My Grandpa worked for one of the Stanley Brothers there before WW1. He returned to Illinois in time to be drafted into the Army..

Back a few years ago I delivered a new pickup truck from Wisconsin to Southern Mississippi. I was driving the trade in back on a very hot Sunday and the truck overheated badly. I had it towed to a car dealership for repairs. I got a rental car and went back to Wisconsin, it took the dealership six weeks before they even looked at the truck...good luck !

We are from Colorado and moved to Iowa 2 yrs ago. Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park is beautiful. But in the recent yrs it has become very difficult to enjoy. Used to be very peaceful now we find our peace here in Iowa. Stay off I70...😂

You sometimes have to go crazy (mini vacation trip) to keep from losing your mind. Down time will heal your mind. Estes Park is a fantastic place to get away..

You can get that rock chip fixed. Just go to an auto parts place and get the windshield repair kit. It's very easy to do
