- A Model Steam Engine Test Plant - Part #15. This Model Boiler has a Manufacturer's certificate and I've already given it a successful Hydraulic test. Now is a good time for an initial Live Steam Test
to set the Safety Valve to the correct blowoff pressure.

I am glad that you are not entirely stupid, unlike many of the sideline experts. Please continued to make quality, educational videos .
"This has been a very uneventful steam test ... "
That's the best kind - this is one of those areas where boring is good!
Thank You for sharing this very informative video with us. If full size boilers had safety valves like that, they would definitely be head turners…
You also stay safe and extremely healthy!!!
That's right Keith, Here in the USA we call gasoline gas, which you call petrol. For some reason we also call any form of :flammable gas, gas too. I guess were just lazy. You folks call each of the different flammable gases a different name (NOT LAZY). Then again some folks just have their heads stuck in dark places. One gas we call LP (what comes in the big canister you use for your big blowtorch), most of them probably don't know that it is a left over from refining PETROL. OH well.
Stay safe AND healthy, .-)
Petrol is short for petroleum
The water climbs the water gauge because the pressure building up in side the boiler and pushes down on the water and it goes up the gauge and pushes out the air un till every thing is equally
Well that how i understand it i could be wrong so be interested on other opinions
They use rubber hose on bbq
Yes, special high pressure hose . . .
