    Have to say thank you so much for this video, Thanks to your very detailed video I have successfully managed to replace both rear disks and pads on my x1, even managed to replace the calliper on the drivers side. The Disks were a real pain to dislodge. but thanks to perseverance I managed to work them off. Thank you 👍 😀

    I just bought some new rotors for my BMW and i will change them tomorrow, due to wobble when breaking.
    I will see if the old rotors where not straight or if there might be something else.
    Where should is start look if the wobble don't go away after changing the rotors or if it come back soon after?

      Hello did the new rotor change anytime?

      @@santatrarmv6865 yes, but only temporary. It were some rods with a lot och play in them that made the whole tire assembly to wobble.

      As described in the video, only the left side has the electrical harness to accommodate the sensor.

    Just finished this job on the exact car, however it dips or slides to to the left under braking. Any suggestions to what could be the cause?

    • @fcpeuro
      @fcpeuro  Год назад

      Hi Jim, oftentimes that can be related to: A sticky caliper/collapsing brake line, worn control arm bushings/tierods/ball joints. An inspection of your suspension components may be a good start. We have a DIY for E9x vehicles (same front end as this e84) where a control arm bushing was so worn the whole wheel was shifting under braking, along with puling to a side.

    This is actually not applicable to the 35i version of the X1. The calipers are different.
