Mariryan and Heather are adventure-seeking, earth-loving triathletes that have taken their passion for life and designed a world around it. Next to a magical garden sits an industrial-sized composting system to ensure everything they grow and eat gets used to nurish the food they're growing! The plants are surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers, with the Surf Shack as a centerpiece.
The interior of this compact tiny home has a functional layout designed to suit a solo traveler or close couple. The Herringbone countertop is eye-catching and complements the other woodwork throughout the house. A loft holds the bed and sits just above the main lounge area, with a couch, a small bar, and plenty of natural lighting. There's a micro bath with a narrow shower and Nature's Head composting toilet. Everything is just the right size for a cozy surf shack!

Those induction portable induction cooktops are a great solution in a tiny house. The tile, and decor is gorgeous. Well done! Seems like a fun couple too.

Gorgeous tiny house! I love the colors, woods and tiles used. I assumed an artist lived there and it turns out I was right. All the extra touches to keep with the surfing theme really sets their tiny house apart. Plus, it's all sustainable. Fantastic!

A really nice facility and very functional. You actually have everything you need. Maybe a little too small for 2 people and 2 dogs, but it's ideal for 1 person with a pet. Really well thought out, including the space outside.Regards from good old Germany 🙂
The Surf Shack is awesome!! So light and bright!☀️🌞 It's so well organized! I love the outside sitting area, and the hooks on the wood outside is genius!! The ladies did an amazing job!! 💕😊👍

Beautiful home! Yes, quite literally nothing about this home is sustainable. Just have a look at the factories where things like sheet metal are formed and processed. The energy required to sustain our comfortable way of life is heavily dependent on fossil fuels, eviromental pollution, and slave labor abroad.
You both did an awesome job. Yes you need storage for clothing etc. but it works out!!!

Tiny Homes like these are PERFECT for Young Adults just starting out on their own...
Great way to allow them to become Responsible/Independent Adults and this could be a start to work themselves up to the bigger home's...
I myself would much rather that those who are just turning 18 live in something like this rather than get into something they can't afford or end up in so much debt by the time their 21...
My advise to you add 1 or 2 ventilation big fan (reverse). Fresh Air will be suck in and small space will not be stuffy and comfortable cooling especially at night. Khind brand is quiet motor not noisy. Most ventilation fan are noisy. Test out before purchase. Don't buy too small, no use. Width: 16' (41 cm) will be ideal. Would be good to make an open kitchen outside your back yard with simple metal roofing. Any stir fried cooking, the entire house will be oily air flying all over your small space and don't have to be constraints when cooking good food, that's quality of Living with good food.

It always stress me crazy to see ladders in these tiny homes like these people don't think they're ever going to be 80 or 90 impossibly have Mobility problems what the hell are they going to do when that happens I mean what if they don't have money to get a tiny house that has a downstairs bedroom or stairs but then again they might have a problem with stairs just drives me crazy when I see ladders other than that good house

Only 8x12. We don’t live in it full time, we use it a lot for family and Airbnb it in the Florida winter

I want to move back to Florida, my home state. I would want a small place like this. Thought there'd be too many restrictions and limitations. I guess you have city water. I wonder where you are in FL. I would like to go no further south than Ocala. You did a great job and the exterior color is perfect.

I'm looking to move to the Pensacola area in the next year or two. Im really wanting go tiny, shed to house, something like that. Is this tiny house in your backyard of a regular home? I need to research what is allowed in FL if I was to just put my own tiny home on my own pice of land.
It's interesting how two people are sharing that they live in this tiny house and people are commenting that it's too small for them. 😕 Honor people's choices and how they choose to live in their world. Geesh!! We are so sad and selfish. Smh
