  • I recently passed my M2 exit test and obtained my full M license.
I've recorded exactly what I did to pass my test at Downsview, Toronto.
    Notice the constant head movement.
Mirror check every 5-10 seconds, blind spot check on every turn, and using the correct lane position (blocking position) is extremely important.
    I hope this helps.

@@tejaspatel5247 keep your head on a swivel, i believe the test sheet looks for head movement every 10 seconds but i looked like a bobblehead just moving it constantly, look left-right-left before proceeding at every stop sign and red light, try to stay in proper lane position, make your observations of potential hazards known by looking at driveways or cars waiting to pull out etc so your tester knows you're seeing these things. the sign on the on ramp before merging onto a highway may say 40km but those are just recommendations, you can go faster and then speed up to 100km before merging. Keep both hands on motorcycle, in riding position and first gear when stopped. That's basically it, its just a quick 20min joy ride. You can lose quite a few points and still pass as long as you don't drop your bike, run a red/stop sign, or show improper use of motorcycle. Good luck and if you gotta retest don't fret just book another.

Your vid. couldn't have been posted at a better time. Passed my M2 exit this morning at Downsview thanks in part to knowing something of the route. Thanks! Ride safe and who knows? Maybe we'll meet on the road some day.

Thanks for the video! Did they comment something about the distance between you and the car in front when stopping? It looked a bit close in this demo video, I wonder if they care. Also, anything about shifting gears in the middle of a crossing?

I did stop a bit too close in the video. You should try to stop with at least 1 bike gap to the car in front. They don't care about your shifting, as long as you ride safely and smoothly.

Did you have to enter and exit the highway only once?

Did they watch your speed during the test? Because you were speeding all the way)

My speedometer is 10-15% off the actual speed.

@@minjaekim9121 Mine too, it's about 6km too fast in the readings. Do they require you to allow pedestrians to clear the intersection completely before making a turn? I thought this was law in Ontario....thanks for this video.
