i have a couple cabins in Arrowhead and Idyllwild, and since my buds just opened a bar in Twenty Nine Palms (Outhere Bar) i decided to look into a spot there.. so when i searched on youtube about the area.. theres ur face on the thumbnail! hah

absolutely love it! so true my parents got that crazy idea in 1982!!! he built the house lived off a well and had a fancy out house with a shower till the house was done!! best life memories ever love ❤ 29 made for the strong

Wow, this is great! I just subscribed to your channel and can't wait to follow your progress! I fell in love with that area in the same way in 2013 and have been thinking about ways I could move out there myself. One thing I also realized is buying a home with a large parcel of land is probably the way to go, even if the home has to be renovated. The land is cheap, but the flood zone issue is just one of many, and the costs of all the permitting can be as much as the build cost of a home by the time your done. Thanks for a great series so far, can't wait for the next video!

Lol, I lived in that hotel / 1 bedroom apartment in Joshua tree back in 2003-5 Gloria was my landlord at the time. I've lived here in 29palms/ Joshua tree for 43 years if you need any information about our desert feel free to ask.
Sounds like you would be a wonderful resource for them and me about the local area and history. George Van Tassel ect and the UFO history is interesting by itself.

OMG, I knew a dude Harry VanSuit who lived at that Motel/Apt there as the Mgr and has the lot next door FULL of JUNK, weird to see it cleared out.. That was back in the 90s..
