Lads, I'm Dublin "born 'bred ' and buttered", i live up the road from the Gravediggers but the best pint of Guinness I've ever had on this island is in Taafes, Galway. It's beyond all meaning it's that good.

Got back from Dublin today, my second trip within a few months, as usual I loved it. Gravediggers was class as always, much nicer during the week early afternoon, last time I went over the weekend it was just bonkers.
Need to be in the Gravediggers early afternoon, like a different pint in the night when packed. All about the pint you're given on the day I guess. Bowes & Lord Edward two faves on mine personally.

The harbour bar in Bray & Bowe’s the 2 best Guinness that’s ever touched my lips…that’s my opinion anyway 🤷🏻♂️!

Gravediggers early in the afternoon in the old bar is the way to go.Where you lads were sitting is part of the newer section of the pub, basically the food area. I find the pint in that particular part of the pub tastes different
If your ever in the Waterford area again theres a nice small town on the way to Cork called Dungarvan, lovely pints in Paddy Foleys and Quealies, great little town.
Bumped into Sean at Liverpool airport yesterday going on a Guinness pub crawl of our own top man 👌gravediggers and Bowe’s definitely worth the trip

This show was too Foo King hysterical!!! Marvelous! And, while you guys were freezing your asses off, here in Key West it’s 87F/30C degrees with it having a heat index of 108 F/42C … what a difference! But the Guinness flows’!Slainte Gentleman … oh! The standard is set in Dublin starting at 9.0

Been looking forward to this for a while and you boys didnt disappoint. Going to Dublin at the end of the mouth for a Stag Do and as best man I have planned a pub crawl going to a few of these (definitely John Kavanaghs) and just cant wait. Bittles is a class pub and great Guinness about 15 years ago when I was there👍

Are ye getting a twang because ye are not waiting until it fully settles??
Your supposed to wait until the whole pint has turned jet black before you drink it.
These pints ye drank definitely needed another minute or two to settle, this might also be why the twang is gone as ye drank further into the pint.
I'm not sure on the stuff sent to UK, but I was drinking in Austria and speaking with the owner the stuff that is sent over is pasteurised so that it last longer in transit maybe its why the Dublin pints are a bit more livelier!
off the drink for years and when he drank that pint ..it was the first time in them years i got thirsty...if you know what i mean

You lads need to get into The Hut, in Phibsboro Dublin next time, across from the Bohemian pub at the back of Dalymount park. Bohemians Fc. There you will find the best pint around hands down, absolutely impeccable pint

This is what I love about youtube. Imagine pitching this to a network. "Right so your are going to bars (sorry pubs will not translate to the international market) and you are going to try different acholic drinks?" "No just beer." "Right, so you are going to try a range of different beers?" "No just Guinness" "but Guinness is the same everywhere" "Well..." "Stop, we are just going to go with reruns of Top Gear and Are you being served.
Beer line 'python'... good for long distances between bar and cellar as the beer lines are grouped together within a larger pipe containing the recirculated coolant. Only thing is, if the python carries lagers as well, it'd likely be set at 4 degrees, your Guinness is going 'extra cold' :(
Walsh’s and the Gravediggers are both the best.
Go to Corner Bar or Horse and the Hound in Skibereen. Best pints of my life.
Love your Guinness craic gentlemen! There are other channels reviewing Guinness, and they are great…..but you two are just a little grater. IMO.

When the Grave diggers gets busy the quality goes out the door, better going in a quiet period. Bowes is a better pint imo

Long Hall is a great pub, fair play to them for sticking to their principles.

People from outside of Ireland don't have a proper perception of Guinness because you're used to pints not in Ireland... It is simply not worth drinking Guinness anywhere apart from in Ireland. The best pint in the UK would be average in Ireland and an average pint in the UK would not get served in Ireland because it wouldn't be allowed simple as

Gravediggers is so overrated. Its all hype. Then reviews are afraid to say it if it's not great. Twang is it's problem. Definitely not the cleanest pint in Dublin by a long way.
