    Lads, did you manage to ask off camera why we end up with extra cold over here in the majority of boozers?

    The nitrosurge is a huge difference and as you said, the closest thing to a good quality pub pint. At least your in control of your temp and glass cleaning to achieve a good one yourself..

    I have been travelling to london for years and the state of pints i have seen served i have very seldom ordered one....on my last visit i eventually found a pub that served a decent pint.....so will be going back there next time

    I love the idea of this and today purchased one, BUT: it’s going back tomorrow as there is absolutely no stock of the nitrosurge Guinness cans! Tesco, Sainsbury’s all NO STOCK available! So what’s the point in the UK??? Very disappointing and can’t think of a single gadget for commercial sale and you can’t actually use it!

  • @kevinwalsh2566
    @kevinwalsh2566 Год назад +1

    Should’ve asked if we get the same Guinness in uk as in Ireland as there’s a lot of people saying we water a stronger brew down in uk and that’s why it tastes different as the water isn’t the same

    • @theguinnesseurs
      @theguinnesseurs  Год назад +2

      According to Steve it’s all the exact same brew, it’s how the pubs maintain and serve the Guinness which affects the taste 🍻

      @The Guinnesseurs I just want to see how much better the microdraught could be considering its over £700 more for what seems to be a similar concept... love the content chaps

  • @josephvermiglio

    Did you ask them about when they are going to drop the rubbish glasses and bring back the tulips full time to the UK? Given how well it sells here you would wish they would invest more in quality control like they do in Eire. I'd have pushed him a bit more on that. Good work though lads 💚

    • @theguinnesseurs
      @theguinnesseurs  Год назад +3

      By the looks of things Diageo has more control over the pubs in Eire, hence the better quality Guinness and glassware. Unfortunately they don’t have same control over the majority of pubs in GB which results in the drop in quality. 💚🍻

      @@theguinnesseurs and what a dreadful drop in quality we unfortunately have to suffer with eh ha. Looking forward to your Dublin reviews, some pints there.

    Thanks lads great interview and very interesting, i live 2 or 3 mins from st james gate , the smell at times in the air from the brewing is amazing, but unlike you lads i prefer the bottles of Guinness original, thanks lads ❤

    So what’s the ideal fridge temperature for cans?

  • @Twiceonasunday
    @Twiceonasunday Год назад

    Isn’t this a bit disingenuous: Guinness served in Asia is brewed in Asia (correct or myth…correct) so “Guinness doesn’t travel well” doesn’t mean anything unless you specify respective to its market where it travelled from. And it’s pasteurised differently for different markets (correct or myth). This travelling argument only makes sense for Guinness brewed at St James’ gate.
